REVISED: useless
Updated review:After trying these in several different ways, I finally THREW THEM AWAY. Reason: once inserted in the pit (halfway or fully, etc) - ALL the water empties into the dirt in about an hour. This is true if the dirt is dry, or if it’s soaking wet. DO NOT BUY THESE!Original review when I got them:Ten green bulbs, packaged well, undamaged. Made from plastic (More durable than glass). Holds 11oz (325ml) (about half a cup). Tip is angled. Just what I wanted. Three of ten had small “dimple” in the side (see pics), which would normally be invisible when in use. I used a kitchen knife to “pre-drill” a hole in the dirt so the bulb slipped in without getting clogged up.

They don't work
We had planned to use these bulbs when we're out of town for any extended length of time. But they drain way too fast. We decided to test them out first on our outdoor potted plants. First we thoroughly watered all the plants until we could see some water draining out the bottom of the pot. Then we inserted the bulbs approximately 2-4 inches into the soil and a roughly 45 degree angle. Weather during the day was partly cloudy in the mid to upper 70s.Coreopsis in a medium pot - we used 2 bulbs. The first bulb drained in less than 10 minutes, so it must have had a crack in it. The second bulb drained overnight.Mint in a medium pot - we used 2 bulbs. Both bulbs drained overnight.Various herbs in a large pot - parsley, rosemary, oregano, etc. We used 4 bulbs. 3 of them drained overnight. The 4th did not drain at all and appears to be clogged. So all in all, we tested 8 of the 10 bulbs we got. 1 drained immediately, 6 drained overnight, and 1 didn't drain at all. How would they last for 1-2 weeks? Don't waste your money.

Heckin Huge
I bought the little guys and they were a bit small for some of my more jungly plants so I bought the large size without reading just how big they are and geeze they are giant. The only downside is just how long the spouty part is because it has to be pushed pretty far in the plant so my cats can't get at it. Other than that they're awesome, I don't think I'll be coming home to a plant graveyard in 2 weeks.

Basically Trash
These took an incredibly long time to arrive, over a month. When they finally did, they weren't anything like the image. They were incredibly thin, soft, and cloudy looking, and almost all of them arrived completely crushed, I wasn't able to bring them back to their shape. They required that I send them a picture for a refund, however I left this in my office over the weekend (I had them shipped to work for our indoor plants) and the cleaning crew threw them away, again, because they looked like trash, as they were just a heap of mangled plastic.

You get a watering bulb, you get a watering bulb!!
Every plant gets one!! I had to. As I created a gnat problem by over watering my plants. I just couldn't get it right. So I had to rinse all my plants at the root, toss the gnat filled soil and repot and get these watering bulbs. They are keeping my babies alive and healthy and my overly attentiveness can stop - that was NOT HELPING. So if you have plants you desure to kerp alive and you have trould following watering instructions - get you some - I bought a pack of 10!!!

Already seeing the results!
I’m terrible at remembering to water some wall plants because it requires taking them out of the planter and watering them over the sink...not anymore! I got these yesterday and immediately put them to use. They were easy to fill and easy to insert. The perfect size for my needs and I’m already seeing a difference in my plants—they’ve perked right up after less than 24 hours! Can’t comment on durability (yet) but I have high hopes since they’re plastic. Overall couldn’t be happier with my purchase.

Surprisingly nice
I ordered these because I was going away for a few days and didn't want my plants to die and I'm very pleased with the results. They came quickly and are larger than expected (which is good) The green color adds a nice pop of color too. Good value for the price.

Stick to the LARGE ones unless your plants are very small!!!
I got both the Small and Large sized ones and they both work. The main cons of the small ones are:- 3/10 had tiny holes (pictured) so they are hard to fill up- they empty out fairly quickly so I end up filling them up every couple daysThe large ones have larger holes (obviously) and last longer but they may be too big for small plants.Overall I like them. I use them to keep the top of my soil dry and water the plants when I'm gone for a few days. I had no issues inserting it into the soil without spilling it all out. (I put my finger on the open end until it got to the soil and then shoved it down)I could also just bottom water my plants but I have almost 20 plants so filling almost 20 globes is easier than moving plants to my tub and back.
