I bought this item based on the cost. It seemed to be about the equal of others but at a discounted price. My unit is the all dark brown model. I think the finish blends in nicely in a rural setting and should wear well.Assembly was faster than I expected - just put a few panels in place, drive in some screws (plenty provided) and there you are. The only exception would be the front doors which required a number of tries and a lot of rough language before the "hinges" fit into place. I hope the manufacturer will consider redesigning the front doors to fit in the same way the top lifting lid is made. The top lid has the hinge already installed and only needs to be fixed into place. It works well. The hydraulic supports for the top seem flimsy but they mount securely and work well.I bought this to house an emergency power generator and it fits fine with room to spare. The unit is designed with built in shelf brackets at the back / top and I might add a shelf to this.In conclusion, I will say that I'm pretty pleased with this container. The Amazon transaction was quick and simple as always. My UPS guy even brought it up into my porch - nice work from the Arkport NY branch. With the exception of the front doors the assembly was quick and simple and although it is made of thin resin it has a lot of bracing. I expect this to stand up to upstate New York winters (think 2 feet of snow overnight and 0 degrees). It is sitting on a raised wooden deck. If it should fail in any way I will update this review.Thanks for reading this.With tax it cost $162.00 US. That seems like a good deal to me.

Assembly wasn’t difficult, just a bit confusing in a couple areas. It would’ve been easier if the instructions noted a couple of things:1. First step- When assembling the back panels, the instructions should’ve mentioned that one of the back panels should be the opposite side. They need to overlap in the middle in order to screw them together and the diagram didn’t explain that. I finally figured it out by looking at the instructions for the next step and step 5, where you can see in the picture that the grid pattern on the back panels are slightly different.2. Step 5 - Screw the back panel to the frame. There are holes where the screws go, but no pre-drilled holes or markings in the top, sides and bottom frames to match up to. But it screws together fine.3. Step 9 - Screw the underside of the lid to the sides (one screw on each side). The diagram doesn’t clearly show where the screw goes. You’ll notice a hole in that area but it’s for the piston. The pre-drilled hole is somewhat hidden, further back a bit.* Installing the pistons. They come folded up and it’s easier to figure out how to install them if you unfold them/ spread them open.I hope these tips make it easier for you. I’d suggest using a battery powered screwdriver in order to get a tighter fit. Also, in Step 8, I used a rubber mallet to help get the small padlock loop pieces on. I don’t know what the pieces are called but there’s one on each door, and they have a hole in them so you could put a padlock on it.Overall the assembly wasn’t hard, and also came with extra screws. I was able to fit three large folding chaise lounge chairs and cushions in the box, with some room to spare! I think it’s a good value and looks like it’ll hold up well.

Looked high and low to find a nice looking storage container in brown for our patio to hold our smoker and wood chips and small power washer we use to wash down the pool deck. Delivery took longer than originally estimated. When we took the pieces out of the box - that was not damaged - we found two of the pieces had cracks in them - both of the cracks were on the back of the unit so they don't show but one cracked piece is on the lower back right corner and we are worried it will eventually become bigger making the entire unit unstable. We did not return the unit as we had waited so long for it and really needed the storage to keep the dogs out of the smoker. Perhaps the company should put corner braces in the packaging to prevent future breakage. Other than that we are pleased with the looks of the unit - much better than the standard grey or putty colored ones at the big box garden stores.

The best thing I can say is that the item arrived quickly. We put it together fairly quickly and the stuff I wanted to put inside it is now inside it. However, the item is very flimsy, has already cracked in one corner when we fastened it together with the provided screws. For the price I paid, I was expecting something much more sturdy. I do not recommend this item, but in all fairness, I have not seen any other similar type items, so I don't really know how it compares to other brands. I'm disappointed with it, but I'm keeping it and will use it as planned and hope it holds up.

I bought two of these boxes and put them together myself. The first one I payed attention to the instructions and you really had to look at the pictures because there is no text in the instructions. But this was literally the easiest thing to put together. Just make sure your area is level!!!!!!!!!! It has to stand on a level ground.The first box I had to spend more time with leveling the surface. I used blocks and plywood. That was the hardest part of the project. After i assembled the fist box the second box i timed myself. I assembled it on a level paved area I started at 2:22 and completed it at 2:41. I did it my myself and I’m a women!!!!!! Easy peazzy!!!!In my opinion Keter is very reliable and their products are early installed and extremely durable. This was my second Keter purchase and am extremely happy!!!

For the price we paid, it seems rickety, cheaply made. I also don't like that if I want a shelf to maximize the space, I have to make it myself.
