This is my first time using a pre workout. I enjoy the gym but some days I’m just not feeling it, so I wanted something to give me a little push and keep me energized to perform my absolute best the entire workout. I hate energy drinks and already start my day with a protein shake and double shot espresso but I needed something a little extra.Having never used this, I used only a 1/2 scoop in 24 ounces of water. I drank it 20 min before arriving to the gym. Upon arrival I definitely felt more awake and absolutely had energy. The best part was it felt NATURAL. It didn’t feel artificially induced which was my fear. I was able to get in a very vigorous 60 min leg day. I was able to pump out more reps and extend my time from 45 min to a full 60 min. I left feeling worked and tired but not exhausted and definitely no crash and burn. I didn’t experience any tingles or itch which I read are common side effects of pre workout powders.While I have nothing to compare it to , I feel the over all quality was great. At only 1/2 the suggested serving, it met my purpose and tasted pretty good (they did however send me the wrong flavor. I ordered bomb pop and got blue raspberry) I look forward to making it part of my regular gym routine.

My neighbor turned me on to this. I am not a gym guy. I go about 3 times a week and basically do cardio and cables. That said, I love this stuff. It's not like an energy drink. Rather, somehow, it makes me hyper focused. It's indescribable. Immagine making that "focused" face where you make your eyes big and have tunnel vision.... that is how it makes me feel - all day. I have no idea how it lasts all day. I only use the small 1 scoop. While at the gym I feel motivated, but not energetic which was what I expected for a "pre-workout." It tastes delicious too. I am not sure how a gym rat guy would rate this, but as a simple dude looking to get exercise, this works very well, and better than I ever expected.

This is my third purchase of this particular pre-workout. Love the taste, love the effect it has; absolutely hate the scoop. I understand the thought behind having the double-sided scoop, but the reality is that it is way too big for the container, and causes constant spillage. Do yourself a favor...ditch the scoop and just use a spoon!

I got to be honest, I do not like this product, I love it. I'm 59, been working out fairly hard the last few months and have never used a pre-workout before. I had heard and read about them, thought they would be a waste of time and money. I spoke with a trainer at PF and he recommended Psychotic. I went to Amazon and did some research. The reviews on your product were strong and the price was right, so I figured if it gave me a boost it would be worth it.I received the order on Wednesday(March 4) and used it that afternoon for the first time, a chest and upper body workout. I was shocked, literally amazed at the difference in how I felt. I finished off sets with no issues, worked out harder than I had to date, and actually felt like I could have done more. Even more surprising was the next day moving around with very little soreness. And the pump was crazy, my arms and chest were jacked.The caffeine amount was my biggest concern, but 1 scoop and no issues. I can't see why anyone would need 2? I'm 215#, workout routine takes over an hour and I only take 1 minute rest between sets, and the pump lasted to the end.It's great to have this product because it has taken my workouts to another level. I worked out chest and upper body again today, and upped everything I had been doing comfortably. I just wish I had been smarter and tried this much sooner.I also did an ab routine ( that leaves me sore) on Monday. Did this same routine with a little heavier weights after taking Nitro Surge on March 5, took my workout to a much higher level and have no soreness, definitely a believer.I rarely leave reviews because I don't think they're needed most of the time, but when a product like this exceeds expectations, I feel it is well worth it. And no, I am not getting any compensation other than at the gym.

If taste is low on your list, feel free to entertain this option. It gives a smooth bump in energy and is formulated well for that. I do believe the max scoop is too great in caffeine content, so I'd stay away from double scooping, 360mg, but that's your decision.As far as the taste... its very pre workout like. I see pre works outs in 4 tiers:-Tastes good (literally would drink it at any time if there wasn't massive caffeine in it)-Tastes OK, meaning not good but not terrible-Taste medicine-like (self explained)-Taste like a pre work out (which is the worst) very sharp, very harsh taste.I've only had one good pre workout and its discontinued. Most of the other I've used are in the OK range. This one, in Watermelon, is in the worst tier. Very harsh, and very sharp. I actually doubled the water to knock down the overbearing artificial flavor. All and all, not a fan. I'm actually surprised at the number of positive reviews. I know we are all different, but I can't see how someone sees this one (watermelon) as good tasting. Just blows my mind. I imagine this is what watermelon Nyquil would taste like.
