BETOOLL HW0130 8pcs Petrol Engine Cylinder Compression Tester Kit Automotive Tool Gauge

This is a good low budget kit. I really just needed the fittings to make my old gauge work for a project but it was cheaper and faster to just buy this kit. That being said the kit is nicely put together. The gauge seems a little cheap so I compared it to my other gauge and they were pretty much reading identical. Overall great kit for the price and seems pretty accurate for my needs.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I have a 2005 Ford Expedition. This kit did not include the adapter size for this vehicle, which uses the Autolite HT15 spark plug. This required someone else to crank the engine while I forced the rubber head into the hole. Had I known the size I needed, I wouldn't have purchased this one.

I have given this compression tester 4 stars because it is extremely light duty and when you place the thread adaptor onto the hose and screw it firmly into the spark plug hole upon removal the thread adaptor can remain in the spark plug hole and the hose comes out by it's self. Depending the design of the engine and how difficult it is to get to the thread adapter it can be very difficult to remove. You can tighten the adapter to the hose with a couple of pliers and that problem goes away. The price is very good and the product is with the money. For occasional DIY it is totally sufficient.

Super price for a similar set found locally. Hoping is shows good results to my engines' cylinders.

Pretty good quality all around . Looks like it will last a while . Definitely something worth keeping in the tool box
