This replaced my 20+ year old Stearns bomber style float coat. This is leaps and bounds more comfortable. It's so nice to have additional coverage and not have it "ride up" like the bomber style did. Aside from that, the materials are great, and it's very well put together. Also nice and warm while giving you lots of flexibility while climbing/etc... Awesome in heavy/cold wind.If there was a 6th star available above, I would have clicked on it for sure. Just LOVE this thing.

Love it!
I work on tug boats and construction barges in New England. We've had some really cold weather already. Jacket is warm and comfortable. Performed well in the rain. Pockets are good. The only improvements I would like are a roomier neck when zipped all the way up. It's hard to get zipped all the way up when wearing a hoodie or other neck or face warmer. Also could use something to clip my handheld radio microphone to. That said, I love the coat.

Jacket is well built and does what it says. My only complaint is that this newer model is substantially heavier and less comfortable than the previous model. After wearing this jacket for about 4 hours, my neck hurts from the weight of the jacket

Extra level of precaution
My father had one of these when he fished up in the Arctic Circle so I bought these for my sons who night fish on the Bay of Green Bay (Wisconsin) as soon as the ice goes out. As a mom I can sleep a bit better knowing if either went overboard they would have a chance at survival. There is a lot of reflective tape, are very buoyant, and warm. Expensive but worth it!

It has a convenient inside belt and roll into the collar hood and plenty of pockets . A little bulky but moveable.

Not as bulky as the old mustang float coats
I work as a Tankerman on a barge in the pacific nw. Great coat for working out on deck. Flexible enough to handle lines.
