Good, basic pocket knife
Kershaw is known for well made, durable knives. While this is made in China, it's to Kershaw's design and standards. Contrary to popular belief, China can make very good products if they are given specifications. It's an inexpensive, every day carry. Extremely durable with a good fit and finish. The blade is sharp and strong. There are no weak points in the construction and the handle is comfortable. The dimensions are small enough to be legal in most places, but large enough to be practical. Well made and would buy again.

Great inexpensive knife
I was looking for something a bit smaller and lighter than my Kershaw Malt to carry on a daily basis. One thing I love about my Malt is that the flipper opener doubles as a bottle opener (albeit not the greatest one), so I thought I'd give this one a try. So far, not disappointed. Pros: * Tanto blade with just the right shape/proportions for most tasks * Perfect size for smaller hands * Lightweight due to the plastic handle * Liner lock seems solid and reliable * Bottle opener is surprisingly great * Inexpensive and decent quality Cons: * A bit difficult to open at first, but it loosens after you open/close it a couple dozen times * Some may not care for the cheaper feel of plastic vs. metal, although I think it's decent as plastic goes * Difficult to close with one hand (somewhat fixable, see below) I have very small hands (even for a female) so most liner-lock knives are difficult for me to close one-handed. This one is even harder than some others I own. However, I read Sean T.'s review about how he modified the frame with a dremel to make it easier to close one-handed, and now I'm pretty happy with it. I haven't tried using the screwdriver functionality yet, but I imagine it would work fine in a pinch. All in all, great little knife for the price.

Great knife for the price, but with some minor issues.
This is a wonderful knife for a good price. It's small profile makes it easy to carry around in the pocket, and it feels very good in the hand. It's also hair-shaving sharp right out of the box, which is very nice. The clip can be moved to either side of the knife so that you can always carry it with the blade facing which ever direction you prefer. The sides of the knife are made from some kind of plastic or resin, which makes it feel cheap and flimsy, but it's still unbelievably sturdy. I've used this thing to hack away at a wooden door frame, and it's still rock solid. Not even a hint of a rattle. That said, it has some issues. The metal lanyard loop is flattened out at the end to serve as an "emergency screwdriver," but in my experience it's not a very useful one. That said, it does function as a prytool for things like paint cans and what not. The bottle opener, while usable, isn't the best, and I usually find myself needing to give my bottles two passes with it before the caps come off. And while the clip can be moved to either side, it can only be placed on the end with the blade, not the end with the lanyard loop. If you're someone like me who likes to put a lanyard loop on your deep-carry knives so that they're easier to pull out of the pocket, this is pretty infuriating. But all of these things are minor inconveniences at best. The biggest issue that the knife has is with the clip itself. It sticks out just a bit too much from the knife, so the tip of the clip often snags on things like chair arms. This would normally just be a minor annoyance, but the metal that it's made of is too soft, so it constantly takes on a bend, making it completely useless. I've had to remove the clip several times to restraiten it with a pair of pliers, and one chair-snag later, it's picks up another bend.

inner edges of scales are sharp, good knife
I really like the knife, it's blade geometry, and build. For 25 bucks, it's not perfect but pretty darn good. If you see all the bad reviews about broken blades, this knife came with a limited warranty that includes replacing the knife if the blade breaks. The inside edges of the handle scales are quite sharp so I took a debur knife to them and the grip experience is much improved. Blade geometry, it's great, I really like the extra "tip" of the tanto style blade. The thumb release should stick out a millimeter further, but no big deal. Haven't used the butt to break glass but my wrist will be close to the glass I am breaking so it will have to be an emergency anyways. It does have a flat like a flathead screwdriver so that may be nice. The bottle opener works pretty good. Good for medium and small hands, Blade length should be legal in most places.

This little knife with a screwdriver and bottle opener is perfect for every day carry. It stays sharp and is very comfortable in the hand. It's very light so it sits easily in the side pocket of cargo trousers.
