Wore it into the ocean, with a lot of wave action, and noticed at the end of the day that I was not burnt, even though I sat in the sun afterwards without reapplying. I can wear it on my face with no irritation, even though I have sensitive skin, and my husband did not complain this trip about sunscreen sweat burning his eyes, as often happens to him.

Great product for sensitive faces, chest and back. I use on my teenage daughter who forgets to reapply. It protects well. Easy to apply.

I bought this sunscreen because it is all natural - no harmful chemicals. That part is true, but it doesn't work well at all.

I love the idea of reef-safe sunscreen however this version had two problems. First, the listed SPF did not seem accurate. Rather than the listed SPF30, it behaved like an SPF15. Second, something about the composition of the lotion sucked the moisture right out of my skin. I was using it while in the Hawaiian islands, a place where normally my skin appears the most young and firm, perhaps due to the high humidity and dew point. Using this lotion, however, the reverse happened. Next time I'll go without sunscreen rather than subject my skin to this lotion.

I haven't tested this in the sun yet but I really like everything else about it. It goes on thick but it does absorb to a silky soft finish, I noticed my makeup when on very nicely over it compared to elta md sunscreen which is what I used to use. Definitely going to continue to buy this one.
