I bought the 20ft in T8:Large Dog Thicken purple. I have a 55 pound Siberian Husky. This leash has been so great for what I call our twice daily "Wandering Sniffaganzas". I take her out on this leash to a park like area with big open green areas and a few trees. She gets to set the pace and go where she wants (mostly) while sniffing all the things. While using this leash I have noticed that we actually walk longer (both time and distance) than when we would take regular walks through the neighborhood in a smaller area. She gets so much enjoyment out of it as she has enough freedom to do her own thing. She is also much more tired and relaxed afterwards compared to a standard walk.I won't say that pulling is completely gone, but I will say it's very rare now when using this leash. She does like to trot along and sometimes will happily jog to her next big sniff spot, but unless she gets ahold of a really good scent, she is content to just meander along with the leash remaining slack.Length wise, I feel like 20 feet is the perfect length for us at the moment. It's long enough for her to have a sense of freedom, but also short enough for me to have control in case she tries to eat something she should not.Sturdiness I rated 5 stars, because for us, so far it seems sturdy. However, I am not sure how strong it would be with a dog who is much heavier and stronger as it's not super thick. I wouldn't say this leash is heavy duty, but it is good for our purpose.I didn't rate the chew proof option because she isn't a chewer in that regard, but I doubt it would last long with any dog who get ahold of it.I absolutely think every dog owner should own a long leash like this one. It makes walks much more of an enrichment tool than just walking the dog fast and hard to get it over with and tire them out. Letting a dog be a dog and stop and smell things can make things so much more enjoyable and less stressful.

I ordered a yellow 50 foot lead to tie on my deck but to give my lab a chance to run and play. She chewed through other leads. This one she would put in her mouth but didn't want to chew on it. She has sharp teeth so she did manage to put some tiny holes in it. However, it was nothing compared to her other ones. I put her on this every day not only to go to the bathroom, but also to run and play. She learned quickly how far it would go and would manage to run without pulling on it. A few days ago though, the lead just snapped when she was running. It had been four months of use. It was such a good lead and so reasonable that I just got another one in a different color. It is hard to find 50 feet of lead so your big dog can run and play. And I love that my lab doesn't want to sit and chew it up. She likes to carry it in her mouth, but not chew it. If it would have lasted longer, then I would have given it a five. Still I will continue to keep one around and will be ordering another so I have it when this one wears out.

The freedom it allows our 5 month old Australian Laberdoodle has been very helpful with simulated off leash. I purchased a 30 foot, which is in retrospect I should’ve gone with the 50 foot. It’s really nice to be able to toss a ball around and quickly make a correction as needed. What was really fun was taking her to a beach. She was able to play with other dogs that were off leash, then after a while, she demonstrated basic commands, and we let her solo. It was perfect after the beach the leash smelled like seaweed it cleaned up very nicely. The one thing I recommend is to get orange or a bright color, it does get to tangled around legs occasionally and it has the animal is running. Everybody can see there’s a new obstacle in the way. Plus you should get a bungee attachment to help with the suddenly stops

I ordered one a couple of years ago. The lead was wider and the metal clip was larger. I couldn't find the same product again so I had to settle for this one.
