While undergoing surgery, a young man (Hayden Christensen) experiences intraoperative awareness. He becomes fully alert -- but paralyzed -- and therefore cannot tell his doctors that he is not sedated and is enduring the whole process. Meanwhile, his wife (Jessica Alba) wrestles with demons of her own while her husband suffers through his ordeal. Review: “Think my new heart will love you as much as my old one?” - This movie really surprised me. Crazy plot twists. Great thriller. I will say Hayden is a good actor but personally this is one of my favorite movies with him in it. I wish he was in a lot more of this genre or like sci-fi based pieces. Review: What a great movie. - This is such a great movie. I have watched it multiple times. Shows what a Mother will do for her son. Loved it.

This movie really surprised me. Crazy plot twists. Great thriller. I will say Hayden is a good actor but personally this is one of my favorite movies with him in it. I wish he was in a lot more of this genre or like sci-fi based pieces.

Surprisingly Good Movie
This movie surprised me. While scanning the cable guide I saw the title and was curious. By the time I tuned in I only caught the last half of the movie. What I saw intrigued me and since there was no other showings I ordered it. The writers took a real medical condition and turned it into a thriller.

Excellent Film
I was recommended this movie by a friend, and after watching it, I was able to see why. Awake kept my attention throughout the whole movie, and all the twists made it a very enjoyable film. I'm a big fan of Jessica Alba and I believe this is one of her better performances. Best movie I've seen in a while. Highly recommended.

fix all the medical field inaccuracies
I work in the medical field, and this was so cringy. So many things about this movie were inaccurate.

Awesome intriguing movie, a must see.
Really intense and intriguing movie. Well done, cheers to the director and all the actors. Even though I guessed what and who was involved the ending had a great twist, well done!!! Highly recommend.
