Cats love fountains. Whats new? IT'S EASY TO CLEAN. I've gone through quite a few fountains, and I have always had the same issue. It is a pain in the butt to get into all the small cracks and crevices a traditional square-ish fountain has. Because its round its easy to wipe out. There are a couple more pieces to clean than other fountains, but they clean just as easy.Another thing, my cats and I were used to the fountains that came down over a lip, like a real water fountain, so I was afraid they wouldn't really take to the spouts. But I was wrong. None of them seem phased by it!As far as aesthetic, it is just freaking adorable. It does have a little green LED and the little sprout spout (hehe) is so cute.Now, I dont think this is a down side, but I read this a lot in reviews, this is not by any means completely silent. It is a gentle trickle. I have two and one seems to trickle harder than the other, but the product comes with a separate nozzle which helps take it down a notch. (not as cute, but if the sound of trickling water bothers you, this fountain wont stop ya)Regardless I love the sound the look and the ease, and the cats love it too, so I couldn't be happier

I've had my eye on a fountain water bowl for my first kitty since I got her 3 years ago....this christmas (and an additional second cat later) I finally decided to splurge and get them one!It is fairly easy to set up and the mechanics are simple - just make sure you rinse everything! It also has a huge water reserve and includes a filter pad and 2 replacement pads. Make sure that the water doesnt get to low as the filter should not run "dry". Also to note: I had to fill it up, run it, and dump it 2-3 times because it was getting "bubbly" and tasted a little chemically...after running it and dumping it over the course of a day though that went away!The light looks great and it definately has a "water feature" sound which I actually really enjoy! I put the "leaf" attachment on as that is what my cats enjoyed the most and was the least "turbulent". They were curious but hesitant at first, but now they love it! I can tell they are peeing a lot more (and are more hydrated <3) based off of how much quicker I have to change the litter now!Overall very satisfied and stoked to have it as added enrichment for my indoor kitties lives!

I was looking for a fountain for my bunny that had a large well area on top. Bunnies dont drink like a cat so a regular fountain without a well area would not work for him. There are three water settings and two nozzle heads. The green insert gives two streams of water that are pretty generous in volume. There is a white plug insert that shoots the water up maybe 1/2 to 1 inches directly from the pump port (think of a garden hose with no nozzle). The third option is no insert at all which will bubble gently and maintain the full well area. Perfect for my boy. Very easy to clean and take apart. Filters are very similar to standard water fountains and the design is fantastic for filtering out any junk and keeping water fresh.My only real gripe is the light. There is no way to turn it off and it is BRIGHT. The only thing I could think to do was wedge it under the sponge filter in front of the pump to dim and reduce it. This is literally the only fountain I found that would do what I needed, so I'm willing to deal with that. Overall I would recommend.

At first I loved this fountain, for the price it was unbeatable. It's cute colorful and has a embedded light, it serves a great purpose over traditional stagnant pet water bowls. It can store a lot of water and is easy to assemble.On the down side the constant gurgling and slurping sounds become annoying. (I have it in my room) The water pump is so powerful in this pet fountain that it constantly overflows leaving a pool of water at the base of the unit. (DON'T PUT THIS UNIT ON CARPET OR WOOD FLOORS!) This normally isn't a huge deal as dogs usually splash water when drinking water anyway. Have a water tray under this waterfall of a fountain. Plans on wasting more water than your pets drinking.

I've had so many fountains, I can't even remember them all. I've paid tons of money for the expensive ones only to have to replace them a few months later. What I love about this one is that it works even better than the expensive ones, my animals love it and I don't worry about having to replace it at such a low cost. The filter is easy to change. The unit is easy to clean and fill. We have 4 cats and two chihuahua's and all 6 of them have no issues with drinking from it! For the price, this is definitely a good deal and I will purchase another for sure when this one wears out.Update: I've had this fountain for a month now and still love it! It's still working great and my cats and dogs love it too! I did find that if I fill it from the top, the water will pool between the two lids and slowly leak out. Since I have been taking the top off and pouring the water directly into the bucket part when filling there have been no issues with leaking. This is the best fountain I have purchased!

So far this seems to be a nice water fountain. It took a little time for my cats to decide to drink from it. The light was new to them. It is quiet and easy to fill. I am hopeful it will last more than a year. I purchased it to replace a fountain that I have already replaced twice.UPDATE: Originally I loved this fountain. I have had it for 9 months. It leaked a couple of times which may have been my fault when I filled it. Now, it is leaking continuously all over the floor. My two cats are very upset and so am I. This fountain worked well at first, but long term is a dismal failure and a real mess.
