Great product and great customer service
I love this thing - quite and efficient - holds a ton - uses AC or DC power - works great for camping and for family holidays sitting inside holding drinks(without having to worry about keeping Ice in it. Besides that its got the same compressor as the more expensive brands, so its going to last well. Thanks to the gang at Juniper for pointing me to this thing. I had 1 issue because It didn't end up working in the location i had planned and the customer service team was excellent to work with and helped me get to a great solution. On top of that I ended up talking to the same customer service agent both times, no need to start over with what was happening, it was a breath of fresh air. Thanks Gang - I'm definately recommending this to friends and family.

Night and Day Difference Compared to Cheaper 12V Fridges!
I recently bought the Wolfbox 12V fridge (59qt) for around $450, thinking it had everything I needed: dual zone, two separate lids, a mobile app, and a decent size. Unfortunately, it was a disappointment—barely kept the right temperature, and the freezer section didn’t even work. Enter the ICECO VL60—this fridge is on a completely different level. Within an hour, the freezing section was already at the right temperature, and you can feel the cold difference compared to cheaper alternatives. It holds temperature perfectly and keeps my drinks ice cold, exactly how a fridge should. The build quality is leagues above the budget options, and honestly, I don’t even feel like I need an app because it’s so consistent at holding temperature. This fridge delivers on every promise, and you can tell it’s built to last. The build quality and performance of the ICECO VL60 are leagues above budget options, and it’s clear that ICECO isn’t cutting corners. This fridge delivers exactly what it promises, and you can tell it’s built to last. If you’re debating whether it’s worth paying more for a reliable 12V fridge, trust me: it is. Don’t waste time on budget options that struggle to do the basics—this one gets it right.

Awesome for Overlanding
I recently got my hands on the ICECO VL45 Portable Refrigerator with SECOP Compressor, and it's been a game-changer for my outdoor adventures. Here's why I think it's worth every penny: Impressive Performance: This fridge is a beast. Pre-cooling the contents before loading is key, as it performs best that way. Whether plugged into AC power or your vehicle's DC outlet, it chills quickly. Plus, when connected to a portable power station, it's remarkably efficient. I never had an issue with running out of power on my deep cycle battery on a 4 day trip. Sturdy and Thoughtful Design: The all-metal construction gives it a robust feel, and the compressor operates quietly. The lid features a wide rubber gasket and secure locking hasps, ensuring a tight seal. The controls and plugs are on the same end, there is another model that has an additional plug on the other side which would be a bonus for loading into a car or truck differently. Temperature Precision: While it may run a few degrees above the displayed set point, it holds the temperature consistently. I found that setting it slightly lower than desired keeps contents at the perfect temperature. In summary, the VL45 is a game changer for me on the go Overlanding. I finally can stop buying ice and having boxes and paper disintegrate in ice water. Highly recommended!

Good unit, Great customer service
This fridge was EXCELLENT for a road trip out to the western U.S - We put it in the back of our 4runner on a custom built slide, attached to a jackery 500 battery. This thing SIPS energy on the 12v setting. We connected the jackery to the vehicle cigarette adapter and the fridge to the battery so that it would run off the battery while the vehicle was off. Never had a problem or hiccup with power - food stayed cold, and the freezer worked perfectly. We often parked in a shady area, but it was still hot outside -- the fridge ran cool. We stored the fridge for a year in between trips, and it lost functionality. Contacted ICECO - their customer service handled it quickly and provided an immediate fix. Couldn't be happier with the unit or the customer service. Stuff happens. It is nice having the confidence in knowing that when it does -- the company backs their product.

Working great, fits well in my 5th Gen 4Runner.
I bought the ICECO VL45 to use while over-landing camping. There is no electricity in the places where I camp. I've always used expensive ice chest before and just filled up with ice on the last opportunity. I bought the ICECO because it appeared to be well-made, and it was the right size to fit into the cargo space in my 5th generation 4Runner. It was delivered in perfect condition. It appears to be a quality refrigerator freezer unit. The lid is thick and well weighted. The hinges are heavy duty, the handles are very robust, and the controls are straight forward and easy understand. The instructions can be a little confusing because some of the instructions apply to a different unit, it gives no indication that it is referring to a different unit. It is very quiet and cools down very quickly. The temperature is a little off, so bought a commercial fridge/freezer thermometer to put in the inside. One area where I have concern is whether or not it will be able to keep up with the heat, should I have to be parked with it in the vehicle with the windows up in the summer, for an extended period of time. I tested this by using it on a family outing. I left it plugged in and running at a family outing. My 4Runner was turned off and the ICECO was plugged into the DC outlet in the back. I had the temperature set to try and keep the inside cooler temperature at 40F. It was in the mid 90F outside air temperature. I'm sure the inside vehicle temperature was well in excess of 100F. The ICECO was unable to keep the 40F. When the inside temperature rose above 50 I turned it off. This is an extreme test (vehicle turned off, in the sun, windows cracked open slightly). The ICECO seems to have a very low power draw. I have ran it all day powering it with my GOAL Zero Yeti 400. It only dropped one bar down from full. I also have the 100 watt brief case solar panels that should be able to keep up with power usage of the ICECO. I have not tested this yet, but on paper the numbers indicate it should work. I have no doubt the ICECO will be able to keep up while traveling or in cooler conditions, my only concern is in extreme heat, which I will try my best to guard against. There is more testing that I will do before I leave on my next trip. I have contacted ICECO to find out if they make an insulated cover for it. I have not gotten a reply from them. Because of it not holding a lower temperature in the extreme heat, and not getting a reply about an insulated cover, is why I have graded it with 4 stars.

Excellent after early trouble
I received the Iceco quickly and it appeared to be in good condition. After letting it sit for 24 hours, I plugged it in to the wall to let it cool down. Unfortunately, cool never came. I tried AC power, I tried DC power. I tried resetting cool settings. It just didn’t work. I contacted Amazon and they said I could return for a refund. I contacted Iceco and explained the problem. I got a very prompt response asking for a bit of additional information. The next message from them said a new one was on the way. The new one arrived in a few days and works perfectly. Lots of folks on here have questioned Iceco customer service but for me it was above excellent. Stuff sometimes doesn’t work and a great company makes it right. Now for the unit. Lots of reviews here already about it. It is fantastic. I love the 2 zone ability having a freezer and refrigerator in one. So, I plug it into the AC power before a trip to cool it. It is at temperature in less than an hour. I find it important to pre cool the contents before putting in the Iceco. It struggles to chill a bunch of room temperature beverages (which you would expect). I load the Iceco in the truck and plug in via DC cigarette lighter. It works great while on the road. Once i arrive at my destination, I’ll unplug from the truck and plug into Jackery 500. With one side on freezer (smaller side) and the other on refrigerator….I can get at least 48 hours on the Jackery. It is a game changer for me. No more ice. It’s really great. My one knock on this (and it is me not the unit) is that it’s BIG! I really don’t need a refrigerator this big. I chose the size based on normal cooler use, but you can get by with much smaller fridge than cooler. If you’ve been considering one of these. Get one! You will not be disappointed.

Great well built cooler. 2 years and going strong!
I have been using this cooler daily for almost 2 years now in my mini-van. It handles great as a mini-fridge for drinks and overflow, keeps groceries cold from the store, and is perfect for long road trips. I have had one issue that was my fault. On a road trip I had blocked the vent fan on the lower right side of the cooler and it shut down giving me an error code on the screen. I soon figured out it, moved a box out of the vent path and it started right back up. But to me that's a great thing, it means it won't self-destruct when it starts to overheat. It also switches between 120v house power to 12v in the car instantly without missing a beat. Yeah I like that it cools and has plenty of room and dual zones... but overall what I really appreciate is that I feel like it is well thought out, well built, and my wife and I love it and hope for many more years with it!

IT'S AWESOME !!
Paired with an Ecoflow Delta 2 Max and extra battery, the VL45 is awesome. I'm on my 8th 2 week desert trip in 90 degree temps and had the thermostat set at 0 degrees F and it kept all foods frozen. Bought a second one to use as a refer, it's set at 36 F giving me plenty of fridg space for extended off grid camping. Both have worked flawless. Also, low power consumption somewhere around 35 watts each.
