I don't care it is high quality from Mitutoyo. A great little set for a quality department that doesn't need a 80 piece set. It has served me well for over six years now.

Q: When does the calibration certificate expire?

The expiration is dependent on your quality system, frequency of use and care in handling, storage. I chose to use the calibration certificate and set a 2 year recalibration date. Other quality systems will require calibration prior to use and would not recognize the factory calibration. Having said that, the blocks will be EXTREMLY accurate if well maintained. Hope that helps.

Q: Is there a certificate stating the deviation on each block?

No there is not; If you buy this item from Mitutoyo you can ask for one, but you will pay a lot more. It never mattered to me because we were going to have it calibrated every year. If you are going to calibrate micrometers, calipers, bigger than 3 inches, this is not the set for you.
