It freaking works!
I didn't know until a few months ago that I'm allergic to bed bugs. My arm, face, leg would swell up and be inflamed for days. I have tried diatomaceous earth.I have tried spraying my house with an ungodly amount of pesticide.I have tried buying carpet steamers. No matter what I tried it seemed like I could never sleep safely at night.I feel pumped that the trap actually worked and that it caught a bed bug 24 hours after installation. This size was much larger than I needed, that's on me for not checking my needed size. But I'm so happy that this thing works. I'm ordering more of them for the rest of my house.Awesome idea!

Great for peace of mind!
A client of mine found a couple bed bugs in his apartment after letting a homeless guy come and take a shower. Panic ensued. Now armed with the knowledge that bedbugs are a bit lazy and tend to hang out either where you sleep or sit, I helped him place these beauties strategically as a trap to keep them from invading his space should they reappear.I haven’t taken any bugs home with me, but have placed some under my own bed legs just incase. I check them now and then as a means of ascertaining if I HAVE inadvertently hauled some to my domicile.I’m even considering taking some with me for the condo we have reserved on Maui as a precautionary measure. They are quite sturdy, esthetically pleasing and I highly recommend them for your peace of mind!

Keeps bedbugs from getting up on the bed.
We picked up bed bugs while traveling. They usually cling to luggage, and when you bring them home, they travel from luggage onto your bed and drink your delicious blood as you sleep!Bed bugs must be the inspiration for the Dracula story, but they are much less sexy and extremely irritating! It is very expensive and not always successful to call an exterminator for your bed bugs. We did a lot of research before we used this eradication method, and—saints be praised!—it was successful! We were bed bug free about 2.5 weeks after initial symptoms. Does that seem like a long time? Well, that ain't nothin' in the world of bed bug eradication! Some people pay $$$ over and over to get rid of these pests! Here was our strategy:1) We washed everything from our suitcases and all bedding in warm water and dried them in the sun on the close line until they were extra-crispy!2) We ran a steamer—one of those plastic portable irons—slowly over every surface of the mattress and box spring, repeating the treatment on the seams and piping, where bedbugs congregate. Also on the toe molding around the room (also a favorite convention site for bed bugs), and also made space between the toe molding and furniture, luggage, or anything else that could transport the little suckers.3) We isolated the bed from the walls and the floor using the Bed Bug Interceptors, the subject of this product review. Bedbugs cannot leap or fly: they can only crawl, and they cannot crawl up the legs of your bed when the Bedbug Interceptor is in their way! We threw a little baby powder in the canals of the Bedbug Interceptors to make their journey slipperier, thus even harder for the bugs to make it to the bed legs!We highly recommend the Bedbug Interceptors as part of a complete bedbug eradication plan! Safe for humans, environmentally friendly, no more trouble than more toxic solutions, cost-effective, and no animals were harmed—except bedbugs!!

Perfect for Detection/Peace of Mind
I ordered some of the standard interceptors and XL interceptors from EcoPest to go under the legs of my bed (the middle legs are larger, which the XL interceptors were a perfect fit for). I do not have an active bed bug situation going on, but have a lot of anxiety around picking them up living in a multi-unit apartment building after an incident a few years ago where that exact situation happened living in a different multi-unit apartment building. These do not slide much, even though some of my bed legs are directly on hardwood floors. They are easy to keep clean, and the white interceptors make it super easy to quickly scan and search for any caught bed bugs. If you have an active infestation or want to add an extra layer of protection, you could easily put some talcum powder or Cimexa in the ridge of the interceptors that catches the bed bugs.

These work to show you if you (still) have bedbugs.
These work as advertised. Glad I purchased them!

Black is a poor choice for this item
I presume they would work as advertised, although (thankfully I guess) I haven't caught anything. Color is a bad choice though -- would make it very hard to see if anyone is in there.

HELPS TO GIVE PEACE OF MIND
ONEOF MY PATIENTS GOT BED BUGS. WELL I GUESS I BROUGHT THEM HOME. OMG WHAT A CREEPY FEELING. AFTER HAVING THE ENTIRE HOUSE EXTERMINATED THE COMPANY RECOMMENDED THESE. THEY HAVE SOME TYPE OF COATING THAT MAKES IT HARD FOR THE BUGS TO CLIMB OUT ONE THEY CLIMB IN. I HOPE TO NEVER NEED THESE AGIN BUT IF I DO I WILL CERTAINLY BUY THESE AGAIN.

Worthless
I had hope for this product and gave it several months. No bed bugs in the traps. I tested by using glue traps on a different leg and the glue traps caught bed bugs. I changed all the legs to glue traps now.
