Great product...Sizes Run Big
This is the first waist trainer I ever purchased and was pleasantly surprised. I got it mainly for a slimming look and back support and I give it 5 stars for both. I read several reviews on size before I purchased and glad that I did. I am 5'6" 170lbs but currently loosing weight. I already have an hourglass shape (under all the fat, lol) so when I sucked in my gut at the narrowest place in my torso (like really sucked in and cinched down the measure) I could get 31" but at my belly button (waist) I was 37-38". According to the chart I should have ordered a XXL but I opted for a Large and it fits perfect. It was a tussle to get on the first time but I've worn it for 3 days straight now and it is very comfortable and I'm down 2lbs and will be moving into the next set of hooks. I will be purchasing a second one in order to have one to workout in/everyday and then one for going out/special occasions. I watched several video reviews on different waist trainers before purchasing and was nervous because my torso is a little longer than most and this product fits perfect and seems to be holding up well. However, it has only been a week so time will tell.

Follow the size chart
The size chart said to measure about 1” above the belly button to use with their size chart for ordering. I measured 1.5” larger than what the small recommended. Still, I ordered the small. I definitely could have gone with the medium like it said I should however, after having my 16 year old wear it for an hour on the second set of hooks, it had stretched enough for me to squeeze into it on the first set of hooks. I am 5’1” and about 125-130 right now. My above belly button measurement was 33”. I also bent the clasps out very slightly to make hooking it on myself easier. The clasps were very tight and hard to hook without it even being on. It’s very comfortable and stays in place. Like I said, I’m short and it still fits my torso area just fine. My daughter is only 4’ 11” and it also fit her torso as well.

Corsets are NOT supposed to be comfortable that is why women use to faint when wearing them because they restricted breathing and squished internal organs. That being said, a corset is a good way to improve posture and take a few inches off the mid-section. Corsets do NOT help with weight loss. They may strengthen some abdominal muscles. Also, they are not meant to be worn for long periods of time (a couple hours are fine if you are a beginner.) I prefer steel boned corsets because they offer the snuggest fits. Don't let others wear your corsets because, over time, they mold to your specific body.I am 5'3, 165 lbs. and ordered the Large. It fits fine and am hoping with time I will be able to tighten it. I prefer corsets that tie in the back so that a second person can assist me to tighten them and to my hourglass figure. Although it's not a tie back corset, I am content with the flattening it creates.

These waist trainers are the best on Amazon!
I have been wearing this brand of waist trainers since August of 2021 and have managed to (with diet and exercise) go from a size Small to XS to XXS (shame that they don’t make more variations of XXS). For reference, I started out as ~135 lbs and fluctuated 130-140lbs and started with a 29 inch waist that is now down to ~23/24. These waist trainers are top tier and I feel that I can wear them all day without any discomfort. They are not the latex stereotypical waist trainers that leave welts and sweat bumps; super breathable and high quality! I am so so proud of my progress and I wore this trainer every single day, either while sleeping or 24/7. Truly like any other long term product, as long as you are consistent, this waist trainer is literally amazing!

I am stubborn as hell
I am 5'1 & 165 lbs (post pregnancy) . I have a 34 waist when I suck in my gut and according to description in the product details you can Suck in your waist to get a better measurement for fit , and it also says you can go down in size if you are curve shape or if apple shape go up in size . With My gut not tucked in I am about a 36 or 37 waist ,so on the chart I would be an XL but going based on the details rather than the chart a Large would of been perfect. This is a medium ...I bought this in hopes it came with an extension(maybe extensions are for bigger sizes?) Because I figure I would eventually go down in size after training anway, so I went with med.But booooo it didn't come with an extention but me as stubborn as I am I manage to get it on by placing the waist trainer above my belly button and sucking in. I figured if I could get the very last clasp on then there is some hope that I could manage to close the entire thing lol and I did but it took several mins as my hands hurt trying to get it on ha.Anyway, it was tricking but I got it on and it doesn't feel to bad despite it being 2 sizes rather than 1 size down. I am hoping that if I wear it all day It will break it in. I also have a more comfy velcro waist trainer as a back up. So yes for my weight ,waist and belly sucked in a large would have been perfect but I can work with this. Hopefully this makes sense as I am busy momming right now .

Was supportive just not long enough for average length torso.
The waist trainer served its purpose. It helped me postpartum get my swelling under control and helped things get into place again. It was supportive but not long enough for someone postpartum. It did work okay if I just wore it low so I could have more support around my lower tummy. My recommendation is find a belly binder specifically meant for postpartum recovery than here. I only wore it for about a week. And I think I could have benefited from something meant for postpartum.I later learned that this was just bad for postpartum mothers anyways. So don’t waste your time with this.

This thing is wonderful
I bought it to change out or wear on top of my compression garment I was given after my surgery. I like that this has more than one row of hooks so you can wear the same one as you get better. I originally got the large as that's what size the chart said I needed, but only wore it a couple of weeks before I was needing a medium. They are pretty easy to fasten, and really are fairly comfortable. I sleep in mine sometimes. I've run it through the washer in a lingerie bag, but always air dry it. So far close to a couple of months now, it's been holding up just fine. I'm really happy with the quality of the garment, and how it's holding up and best of all what it does for me.
