It is perfect fit although there is some excess that needs trimming and it can be tricky to cut it right. The sewing part is not that hard for someone with a little experience.

I particularly liked the fact that this steering wheel cover was made specially for the Prius.Although the product wasn't cheap, had to be imported, and was a bit of a hassle to fit, it was well worth while and the final product looks superb and feels great.Amazon implied it would take a month to arrive but the product arrived in a just a few days.The box contains the steering wheel cover (a high quality synthetic leather), double sided tape, two cards containing the cotton material (and it really is strong cotton!), a needle, a thimble and a plastic tool for fitting the cover.I chose black cotton to match the steering wheel cover . Also, it's less noticeable then if you make mistakes in the stitching.I'd say allow an hour or two to fit.See picture of the fitted cover

Not the cheapest option or the easiest to fit, but well worth the extra time and effort. Good quality workmanship & materials, with plenty of thread to spare. Excellent kit with everything you need to do the job. Clear printed instructions enclosed, as well as a YouTube video to make even clearer. So much more professional looking than the inferior cheaper slip-on type.
