Great Product
My husband has a chest catheter and uses this for showering. They are so much better than trying to cover with saran wrap and tape. Nothing is perfect to keep water out but these do a pretty good job. He still tapes the top and sides with waterproof tape for added protection. The other plus is they are much easier to apply than plastic wrap. Little pricey but worth it.

Recommend!!
I used to have my PICC line in my arms and had originally tried a dressing similar to this and multiple other ways but none ever worked except ace wrap...it was a miracle! At least until I had to have line replaced and now it's in my jugular. I was very worried about how I would be able to shower since its not an ace wrap friendly area. Luckily I was able to try this and it actually works, unlike other brands I've tried.Unfortunately I will say that, for me, it doesn't exactly stay on if you have a steady stream of water flowing on consistently or if it gets extremely steamy in your shower. So you still should be careful and try to keep it out of waters direct spray when possible. And if your still worried about water leaking in and want extra protection, you can always lightly wrap an ace wrap around your neck so that it covers the top edge of the barrier that the water hits most when washing hair.Overall I'd recommend, especially if you have skin that other products don't stick well to!

Finally - something that works
I have a central line and everyone (doctors offices, patients, websites, etc.) told me that nothing really works. I was about to buy a hair dressers portable sink when I decided to try AnchorDry. Well, this product proved them all wrong! You still have to be careful, and I do occasionally add waterproof tape around some of the edges. But it is rare to have a leak. The biggest thing to look out for is the water temperature. I always liked really hot showers, so "warm" showers to me are still too hot for most. If the water is hot enough to make you sweat, your bandage will get damp (not from the AnchorDry).I will definitely only be using this product for the next year.

Item is fantastic. But, been trying to order a bigger size , having difficulty doing so. I have a CVC Cather on my right side of my chest for dialysis. You can't bend the hoses. So I end up using 2.can you help?

Best Cover Found to Date
Permanent Chest Tunnel Dialysis CatheterFemale: I rub area of chest where sticky part of covering will adhere to chest with rubbing alcohol before putting the cover on to ensure it will stick to my skin for duration of shower. Also, I adjust shower head so that I can stand outside stream as much as possible during shower. When finished, and before I turn shower off, I immediately step out, dry off cover and surrounding area. Then I pull off cover & inspect for dryness. Finally, I turn off shower & continue as usual.

Does not stick. Leaks.
Does not stick. Leaks every time. I followed all instructions and still leaks. Maybe it might work on a perfectly flat non-flexible body part, but not for a dialysis catheter on the chest.

Works well for my dad to put over his dialysis port while showering. Wishes it came in a longer length though
