For the price, this is a nice item. However, when I took it out of the box and unrolled it, uh...no. Smelled like a refinery (and not in a good way). Not putting this in a hot car in Colorado. Liked the form and heft so much though, thought it'd be worth trying something.Unrolled this thing on my deck for a couple of WEEKS of heavy duty heat and sun exposure, flipping it over every couple of days. Got rained couple times; may've helped. Just before the return-by date passed, I put it in the back of my new (to me) Venza, hot day...nuthin'. If it was still out-gassing, well, I sure couldn't smell it. Big enough, too, and lays flat, Needs trimmed to fit perfectly, no biggy.Nice.

I was surprised at the quality and thickness of this cargo mat. Very good quality nice durable rubber material. Covers my entire cargo area of my SUV. Looks good, my groceries don’t slide around all over the cargo area anymore. The installation was pretty easy, I did have to cut off areas to make it fit better. Be careful I took too much off the back and I just slipped it back underneath and you can’t tell it’s been cut. The right side comes up a little so not a perfect fit but it works great and the price was good. I would totally recommend for cargo protection!!

We ordered this cargo mat because it was the closest fit we could find to our 2004 Toyota Sienna. The cargo mat has adequate thickness to protect against almost anything, yet it was easy to trim off excess that we didn't need. We didn't need the entire depth of the mat, we wanted a mat that lined only the cargo well in back of the third row seats. It was a good fit after we cut off the excess depth. We were able to use just an ordinary inexpensive pair of household scissors to do this. There was a little excess mat at the sides of the cargo well and the mat was pliable enough that we could press the extra two or three inches on each side up against the sides of the cargo area. We chose to do that rather than cut off the excess at the sides to better contain any spills in that area.I would highly recommend this cargo mat.

Fits 08 Hyundai Santa Fe, Recently bought in really good condition, seating and carpet like new .Trunk is like brand new doesn't even look used lol. I first bought a bag holder for the trunk to keep antifreeze,oil, and other road side service stuff in as shown in photo. Then I thought what if things leak.. plus it's mulch season which I need to pick up bags of that and soil. Fishing season is here so more dirt and water and again before I go messing this SUV up I thought I better get a trunk liner, already had tires in here from my other car. This is very heavy duty rubber, I did have to trim it just a little as you can see in the photo. It should work great. Only down side I have to move it to access my tools under the mat two storage compartments. It did have a heavy rubber smell so I hung it over the patio for a day to air out highly recommend! Other than that it should help protect my trunk carpet. amazon is the best !

I'm using this mat in my 2017 4runner. The fitment is fine since you can trim it to make it fit. I'm rating it 3.5 stars because it has a bad chemical smell to it. I aired it out for a week but still has a bad smell on a sunny day. Also the material doesn't seem as durable as the oem trunk mat, but time will tell.

For what I paid, I can't complain at all. Some reviews made me worry that it would be super thin, but it's not at all, it's a very reasonable thickness and weight. It's not the rigid type that keeps its form, but it's certainly not flimsy either and is thicker than I was expecting. I bought it for my 2014 Nissan Xterra because the back of the seats (when folded down) and the entire cargo area is a textured plastic instead of carpet. This would be fine except it's too slippery for my older dog when she jumps up into the back, so I needed something more grippy for her to grab onto. This isn't as rubbery or grippy as I was hoping, but it's less slippery than without it and the raised pattern also helps her grab on, so it's an improvement.As far as fit, it's not a custom fit but it's a pretty good universal shape and size for the most part. It does not fill the entire area with the rear seats down, but it would have been fine for the rear-most cargo area if the back seats were upright. But for my purposes, I reversed it and moved it up toward the front so that my dog can jump in the back doors. This leaves a gap of about a foot or so at the far rear (near the cargo/hatch door), but that's fine for my needs.Based on the reviews I've read, this is the type of thing that really depends on your expectation. I don't think it's fair to expect a custom fit when it's meant to fit a variety of vehicles of different shapes, it's just not realistic. If you are very particular about a custom fit or need it to be precise, I'd look elsewhere and get a more expensive, custom item. If you're less picky and just want something that protects the cargo area of your vehicle at a lower price, I think this fits the bill just fine.

I bought this to replace my old carpet mat after I spilled 1 gallon of white paint on it (I know, idiot of the year award goes to...)This thing does the trick! Plenty of excess material for even the biggest trunks (I have a 2016 Toyota 4Runner). I was able to trim it no problem with a pair of scissors in about 15 minutes.The only problem is that this thing has an incredible chemical smell to it. I got this about 2 weeks ago and my car STILL has a smell of plastic-ey chemicalness to it. Maybe washing this thing with some dish soap first would help? I don't know. If you're sensitive to those types of smells, I would let this thing air out for a while before using it, or just get a different one.Otherwise, this thing is great! I would recommend it if you don't want/can't afford the perfect-fit mats!
