TOTO SS154#03 Traditional SoftClose Elongated Toilet Seat, Bone

Delivery was on time and it fits on the toilet. Color is correct. Not much one can say as a review!

My husband and I have Toto toilets throughout our house and in replacing the lids now order only the SoftClose. Although expensive they are wonderful and this seat is very comfortable so when he sits for hours reading his tush is much less prone to go numb.

The seat comes in good condition. But there is too much play between the hinge and the seat that makes noise when you sit on it. The old original one come with the toilet looks more sturdy than this one. I think the reason is the different manufacturing country. Anyway it’s still a nice toilet seat and you get no choice if you want a factory one.

Decided to try this Toto product as the one we had was delaminating. We purchased 2 identical Toto toilets and toilet seats, at the same time. One was for the upstairs bathroom, and the other on the main floor. We were surprised when the upstairs toilet seat started to delaminate and the bolts kept coming loose. The other toilet, which is used more, was fine. Toto refused to replace the one delaminated toilet seat, so we've been looking for a "soft close" replacement. We tried this and were pleasantly surprised. It is not the exact same seat but it works well. No more delaminating or bolts coming loose. We are very happy with this product.

The replacement toilet cover was the perfect match for brand, color, and style. Plus it has the very soft close feature. No more banging lid.

Made quite a lot of squeeking when I first got it but I guess it had to be broken in because it does not squeek anymore.

Works exactly like the ten year old original. While the top design is slightly different, the color and shape fit perfectly
