I bought this since I wanted to start crocheting. And so far so good. Its a super functional and easy to hold hook with a lot of different sizes.Its currently my go to hooks as its a great beginner set and comes with darning needles and markers and even a carrying case which is fantastic!The sizes on the hooks are printed on, and engraved into the handles. I use the 5mm hook quite often and the printed size rubbed off, but thankfully all the hooks are color coded so its easy to find! However the handles are better, in my opinion, if you crochet using the knife hold. I tried doing it with a pencil hold and it made my fingers hurt. But overally solid build for a starter kit.TLDR: Great beginner set, comes with all the basics in a case. Handles might be suited for different holding styles rather than doing the pencil grip. Great way to start crocheting!

These are a FANTASTIC set for the price. Especially when you consider that most craft stores want nearly the price of this whole set for just one hook.They are SOOOOOO COMFORTABLE to hold, and reduce fatigue very significantly.They do glide through stitches well straight out of the packaging, but they glide FABULOUSLY if you give the hooks a quick wipe with rubbing alcohol to remove whatever miniscule rubbery residue from the factory makes them stick a bit at first.If you put them through a gage checker, some of the gages are very minimally off, which doesn't matter in the slightest unless you are changing from a different brand of hook to one of these for comfort mid project like I did. (Then you may want to compare the hook from this kit to your previous brand and make any adjustments for optimal hook size as needed.Some people complain that the sizes stamped/printed onto the handles in black ink get rubbed off over time; this is accurate if your style will put your hand in contact with the printed number often enough to make this happen. BUT, it doesn't matter because the size is also physically molded into the opposite side of the handle from the print. (So, unless you're going to be weird and cut the back inch of the rubber grip off for some unfathomable reason, the size will always be on there someplace.The needle set and stitch markers are perfectly adequate and the snips are a great throw in for however long they last which seems like it actually might be longer than your average overpriced craft store set. And the little case is also a great inclusion.If you like spending money, by all means go ahead and buy the set from clover or whatever else blows your skirt up, but I seriously doubt that it's worth the extra $40ish that you'll save on this set.

I've been knitting for several years and decided that I wanted to try to crochet. I had picked up crochet needles along the way as they were sometimes included in knitting supplies I had purchased. So when I started to crochet, I was just using the regular metal crochet hooks. I had finished one crochet project and was on a second one and I really wasn't very happy using the metal crochet hooks. It was then that I remembered the rubber handle hooks that had come with the Woobles. I pulled out that hook and it was just so much more comfortable and made it easier to grip and hold. I found this set and it was perfect. It has all of the hook sizes that you could possibly need and the storage case is a great plus. I also like that all of the hooks have the sizes printed on the handles. So far I'm really enjoying these hooks and I think they are a good bang for your buck

I love these crochet hooks and this kit so much that I have ordered two of them!! Now to be clear the second one was ordered simply because my dog got a hold of one of my hooks and the rubber did not survive. However, these are by far the best crochet hook I’ve used and they alleviate a lot of the pain in my hands caused by crocheting.! They function as expected. The quality is great because there’s no snags on the hooks. The colors were true to description so I love the color of them. They’re great and they’re so lightweight.

First and foremost, I love these hooks. They're great for a crochet beginner like me. I love the color, how sturdy they feel, and the engraved/printed sizes on the handle. The seams where the rubber was put together have some excess material there, but it doesn't bother my hand when using it, and they can be trimmed/rubbed off. The needles have been very handy and I love the scissors.Reading some reviews before purchase, I was worried the hooks weren't as deep as some other hooks, but I haven't had a problem where my yarn slips off.I would have liked to put a 5-star rating, but the bag is where I have a problem. The bag barely fits all the hooks, you do have to fight with the zipper a bit to get it closed. I recommend getting a pencil case or hook case. Other than that these hooks, needles, and scissors are great!

These most used sized hooks are a 'must' if you are using 5-7 ply or bulky yarn. The length of the shaft is necessary to get your yarn smoothly on the hook without loops overlapping.The soft ergonomically correct handle provides a longer time (even up to an hour +) to crochet.Additional items in this carrying case are added bonuses. The case is ample to hold all the hook, small enough to slip in any bag and the color makes it highly visable even in the bottom of a bag.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of these hooks. Such a nice, compact, complete kit.

I love this set so much. It have a set of my own that I use all the time then I also purchase a set for everyone I teach to crochet as a gift thus set is has great quality is comfortable to use. ( I have arthritis and carpal tunnel ) love the colors
