I bought this for my newborn to go through the hot summer days in California. I wasn't expecting much, but this thing really impressed me. Very silent and never had to use speed 3. Speed 1 offers a fair amount of freshness to the baby with a moist air. The fact that this is battery operated, we can even take it on the stroller during our walks (battery last long enough - yesterday it was used for 3 hours at speed 1 and today we've used for another hour and it is still going). Not to mention that the price is really fair

I really like the idea of this mist fan. Unfortunately, it does not work. So I have to return it.
