The colors are much more vivid in person and the quality of the wool is great! There is very little to no debris in the wool roving. It's very soft too. My package came early and was the size of a packed gallon ziplock bag.The tiny packets of wool measures 7cm by 11cm. You may get two types of packets. It doesn't come with a resealable bag to keep all the wool together so I recommend using a gallon ziplock bag or some sort of jar/bucket. The tiny bags itself doesn't hold up well and are very fragile. They can tear when you're not careful. I don't mind that since I can always group the wool(by color) and store them in other bags. Some colors are very similar so you could mix them together by tearing up both of the fibers together.When taken out the bag, the wool roving is about 9 inches long. The roving can stretch a lot too. This is plenty if you're planning to make small items and use polyster fiber as the core. A perfect starter set for needle felting small stuff. There are 10g wool roving packs on Amazon and those are also great to start with. I hope the pictures and review helped you!

Very nice wool for felting. It seems like some people thought they should have received more wool, but unless you realize that this is grams and not ounces, I can see where the mistake would be made. I machine felt and use this for felting my designs on pieces of felt that I previously made from larger sources of wool that I actually bought by the pound. I have a digital scale that weighs in grams and ounces and I actually received 5 grams more than stated when I weighed them all together. The colors are very nice for blending and I'm totally happy with my purchase.

The colors are vibrant, and the material is easy to work with, plus, its suuuuuper soft and doesn't have a strong odor, from the dyes! For folks just starting out, this is perfect! After you use these, you'll likely see which colors you'll want in bulk, like black and white, or the colors you probably never use (in my case, purples).

Very soft. Colors don't run. Great color selection. I received earth tones, animal colors, flower colors and fun colors. They are wonderful stash builders and great for detail work. Mix and match packets to make felted soap, flowers, animals, coin purses, vessels, etc. Don't order if you need a particular color. If you want to be inspired by a color selection, this will do it and get your creative juices flowing. Remember that packets are small, but perfect for this price point. Way nicer than that rough stuff you find at Hobby Lobby.

Little packets that are great for detail work or making small animals. However, the wool is really tough and in some cases hard to work with because of its consistency. It will work after a while, you just have to really work to get it in, and if you want to separate it for different pieces you might have to pull off little wisps to put back together or just cut out what you want. It's nice and neat and has very vibrant beautiful colors, but it can be a bother to actually work with.

Only got 35 colors instead of 36. Haven't weighed all the bags. Of the little wads of roving I weighed on a calibrated jewelers scale, some were as low as 4.7 grams. A couple were 5.1 grams. Kind of going with "not as advertised", but not too far off. If you are just starting off with some small needle felting projects, this is a great way to get a variety of colors for detail work wih out having to invest in one ounce minimums. That being said, thinking I will stick to the larger wool supply companies for my needs.

Nice colors and a good quantity of wool for my needs. These are small bags of wool in many colors. The wool is of good quality. I use it to add color to my projects. I use white/ off-white core wool for the base. I have ordered several times from this supplier and satisfied each time. I would definitely recommend.

If you want to see colored wool, order it. If making a pattern up, read parameters. There likely won't be enough for a full project but might be enough for small details. Even at that, when you felt a hunk, it takes a lot to get the desired shape. Bottom line, without sheep, it's an expensive hobby.
