I bought this tip cleaner for occasional hobby use with a TS100 iron.The Bad:The brass ball is as small as it seems in the pictures. Heavy users may want to look elsewhere, though you could fill the outside storage area with brass. It suits my needs just fine as is. The brass itself is high quality.The Good:It doesn't move around like the Hakko and Hakko clones when you use it. One, the angle is straight down. And two, it's silicone, so it's semi-sticky and you don't have to worry about hitting metal with your tip. No need for washers or fishing weights in the bottom to hold it still.A single 100 gm roll of solder fits in the storage area, which is handy when tinning wires with the solder in a stationary position, as well as adding even more stability.It's a well-thought-out little tip cleaner and it looks good too.
