Works as intended
Used in my 85 Ford Ranger. Worked fine for a year, but then the contacts welded and now won’t work.Mine was abused a bit while working to get the truck running, but should be fine for daily use.

Starter solenoid for Jeep
The solenoid is the exact duplicate for my 1960 Jeep starter solenoid that is mounted directly onto the starter. The only adjustment is to slightly bend the mounting tabs to fit the curve of the starter. This solenoid on a Jeep bolts directly to the starter unlike Fords that bolt to the wheel well.. Works great and a good value for the price. Got the part fast.

Fits perfect, works the way I expected!
Fits great on my vintage mustang. Word to the wise... if you over tighter the posts on just about any starter relay, they may go out of internal adjustment. And by that, I mean your starter might get stuck cranking over. If that happens, just wiggle the cables or tap gently on top of relay with hammer or back end of screw driver. Then back off the lower nut just a hair and tighten cables again. Being sure you hold the lower nut in place so the post doesn't spin.All in all. Great replacement part that looks good and works great on my sweet vintage ride.
