Fits very tight
I bought this to store rice. We have used other 'sealed' containers, only to find out they are not really sealed. Many times we have found weevils in the rice, even after freezing the rice for a couple weeks to kill the eggs. This container seals completely and no weevils! This canister reminds me of type which my parents and grandparents used to seal foods, old style but it works.

Poor quality
Received can with uneven surfacing, small dents, scrapes, cuts, exposed metal that will rust. Poor quality canister , will not be good for food storage
