On first attempt to use it the nut on the main bolt wouldn't stay tightened no matter how many times we tightened it so the pruner kept trying to fall apart.. then the spring fell out... then,on second attempt to use it the lock got stuck/jammed in the open position.....and this product sells for half the price elsewhere

I bought these pruners for my sister, because I love the pair I have. They are really sharp, and they cut cleanly. I haven't dulled them up after a season of clipping blackberry vines from the back of my horse. They are smaller than most pruners, perfect for stowing in my saddlebags and for the size of my hand. The locking mechanism is easy to operate with one hand. All in all, a great pair of pruners.My sister was very happy to get them in her Christmas package, and loves them as much as I do!

I love these! They last and are so very handy to use when cutting back the roses. They are smaller and not heavy or cumbersome. I lost one pair in our front yard while doing roses. I was quite disturbed as one gets attached to something that works well and I was glad to find them on Amazon.

I needed it for my garden, and it was way too small.
