Great quality and price!
I have had my 2003 Silverado for 22 years and plan to keep it, only has 90k miles and this is the first mechanical repair needed. I didn't want to put on a Chinese compressor. I am a retired Honda dealer tech of 40 years and I trust the Denso brand so I was very pleased to find this one on Amazon so inexpensively. This particular one is made in Japan, which to me means great quality. No instructions or seals were in the box (beat up during shipping but not open. The unit seems undamaged) so I looked at instructions on their website for my model number. It stated that seals were included. I'm hoping my old ones look healthy. It would have cost them next to nothing to include them. Reviewers have complained that there isn't enough oil in the new compressor and also to discard the "shipping oil". The instructions say to turn the new compressor a minimum of 10 turns with the connection ports facing up to get the oil to where it belongs, perhaps this will allow more to drain out. You need to drain the old compressor fully and measure how much oil you get out, then drain the new compressor and put back in as much as you got out of the old one. I'm sure the shipping oil is the correct oil that belongs in there. I will be doing this in a day or two, I'll see how that goes. The instructions also say to replace the receiver/dryer to receive warranty consideration but my failure was only of the clutch pulley bearing seizing, no internal failure and it was working great until then, so I'm not doing that. I highly doubt it's going to fail during the warranty period anyway. Update: I drained the new compressor thoroughly after turning it 15 times, I only got out 2 ounces. I drained the old compressor and got out less than one ounce. The system was working normally until the clutch bearing failure, no internal problems, no leaks so I think this was normal. I put back over half of the oil into the new compressor, wanting to err on the side of a little extra. Considering the small volumes here, I think it would have been fine to skip this whole step but I'm not recommending that to you since you can't really know until you do it. Pouring rain today, I'll evacuate and charge it tomorrow.

Perfect for 07-13 GMC Sierra
This was the perfect ac compressor replacement for my 2007 NB GMC Sierra. My ac is now blowing ice cold.

Original Equipment for Gm trucks, MADE IN USA!
I was blown away when I saw the made in USA sticker on the box, and on the compressor itself. I am writing this review before I have installed the part. This is the original equipment part for my 2006 GMC truck. It doesn't get any better. This is THE compressor to buy if you need one. If I have any trouble installing this part, that will be my fault, NOT the compressor's fault. If the part is defective, I will update this review. However, I suspect this quality part will be just fine. MADE IN THE USA. See the three pictures I have included for proof. This is for Denso part number 4710315, and this review was written on 4/29/24. I had to wait a few weeks before Amazon could ship this part to me. I suspect Amazon was waiting for a fresh shipment to their warehouse, before they could turn around and send one to me. I have not seen anyone else mention this part being made in the USA. In fact, I seem to remember the ad listing on Amazon even specified "made in China". Well, apparently, this new batch is now being made here in the USA... I'll take it! Edit: Just to be clear, when I ordered this item, it was "sold by" Amazon, and "ships from" Amazon. This sales listing seems to alternate between different sellers. If/when you place an order for this compressor, if it does NOT say "sold by" Amazon, and "ships from Amazon" you may not get the same product that I did. (made in USA) Don't get me wrong, I am not talking bad about the other possible sellers, but I have no idea what they are selling. I can only confirm what I received from directly from Amazon.

READ: Only had 2oz of oil insde & no gaskets
Pic attached shows it says 2.5oz of oil inside and 77cc which is 2.5 i got just over 2oz out of mine If you're buying/considering this compressor just know it only comes with 2.5oz of oil. I wrote denso with no response so i emptied it into a measuring cup and got just over 2oz. My vehicle requires 8oz and if ya have rear ac even more. Amazon claims it comes with oil included. It does not Absolutely no paper work inside It also doesn't come with gaskets. I would definitely order new gaskets. I gave one star because of the false info. Denso makes a great compressor. Strongly suggest buying a denso over a cheaper one. I do wish denso would put some paperwork inside cause its supposed to be ready to drop in and most people wont empty it like i did to make sure. Requires nd-8 which is PAG 46 equivalent. This info will help you out. I am 100% sure of this. So you can trust this info. I will update after a few months. Ive had great luck with denso in the past. Installed on a 2006 Escalade EXT w/o rear ac. Hope this saves someone the trouble. Good luck

The a/c compressor was easy to install, fit properly and does blow cold air. Only downside is that it is a bit noisy from time to time, makes a bit of a whining/whirring noise. Too much hassle to return and replace it again though so I’ll put up with it
