ManzellaTSU-40 Glove, Black, Medium/Large

I have enjoyed Manzella liners/shells as gloves for a wide variety of cold weather work and sports for 30 years when they used to be sold through Bike NASHBAR. They keep you warm and allow you to have good dexterity to handle things as long as you're not fighting high winds, and even hold up ok when a little wet. The description was not clear for the TSU-10 or TSU-40 as to which had the grip dots which are big part of what makes them so great for working in the cold. I bought two pairs of M/L of each figuring that I'd at least get two with dots, but all are marked TSU-40 but 2 pair didn't have dots, 2 pair did but one pair is L/XL which is a bit big for me. I can't tell you which to buy as they all came together, but hopefully the manufacturer can reply to this, and update their descriptions. Would have been a 5 start if I knew what to get.

I have been using these gloves for many, many years. Always on their own, never as a liner. Yes they are thicker than in previous years, but they still provide a degree of warmth in situations where you need dexterity, like handling tools, using a camera. I also use them for jogging, hiking and driving. The dots give good grip, especially on a steering wheel. They stuff in a jacket pocket real well, and I will often carry two pairs with me hiking so as to have a backup. The only knock, if you can even call it that, is that with today’s smartphones they’re not e-tip, so you have to take one off to use your phone. Still I love these for what they are!

I have Mandela gloves from a couple years ago that I love. These I hoped were the same but are not. They are much thicker than the ones I love.

I've owned several pairs of Manzella gloves over the years, but always seem to eventually lose one of the pair and have to buy a new pair. I find them to be perfect for those days when it's cold outdoors, but not frigid. During the later years of my long-distance running days, I found them to be perfect for keeping my hands warm if the temperatures were above 20 degrees. They are also very durable and last forever if you don't lose one as I've been known to do.

Just like it a lot. I've already bought 3 pairs and they never let me down. .
