We have tried and used several different foam dispensers and this one is by far the most compact and functional one. It sits good in the shower caddy and can easy be taken out (without falling apart like the one I have in the kitchen from another company) and mostly I appreciate the water proof design and how the battery department is placed....if it will outlast the other ones we will replace them with this one...it looks great and does everything as needed for a dispenserUpdate December 2019:Very disappointed: it just quit - first I thought: oh it's just the batteries....so I changed them (seemed a bit early, but the red light blinked) .... nothing comes out and the red light blinks again... frustrating.Noticed that the battery department had from inside moisture in it !??.... so somehow the mechanism is leaky. Whish I know how to repair that unit.🧐😕Dec 13: today I thought before I throw it out I will dismantle it and look inside what really is the problem hoping maybe for a repair option and this is what I found -> see attached pictures.... moisture inside and the culprit is the hose piece connection from the bottom in the middle part of the container leaking inwards, which gets the wires to corrode.... theoretically repairable with a lot of tinkering which I am really not in the mood for. So it landed in the trash.

I really wanted to like this foam soap dispenser. They design looks nice, the packaging was elegant, and the company really appears to care about their product and customers. However, the product is not yet ready for showtime. As other reviewers have mentioned, the sensor is far too sensitive or perhaps has other issues. When it dispenses soap, it sometimes gives you an extra squirt of soap if you don't remove your hand from underneath the dispenser extremely quickly. Other times, it will squirt out soap when you are simply washing your hands and they are nowhere near the dispenser. I bought two of these dispensers and both do the same thing. I have no idea why the company would not have discovered this issue during the product's design or quality control and addressed it. I have bought numerous overpriced Simple Human products in the past, including their soap dispensers. While Simple Human products are nicely designed, they do not last very long so I am sick of giving that undeserving company my money. I was hoping this Svavo soap dispenser would prove to be a viable alternative to Simple Human, but alas, no such luck. Svavo, please address the sensor issues and you'll have a good product.

I had a Simply Human automatic hand soap dispenser for about 5 years. It was more money and it still broke. I went to normal dispensers for a year. Then the pandemic hit, & I wanted the kitchen to have an automatic dispenser to reduce the spread of germs.Since I wanted white and not too cheap/tacky looking, I looked around for a bit. I was thinking this would be better than the simple human since the batteries are NOT on the bottom & therefore less likely to get wet. It was a good thought, but it appears the sensor broke instead.It worked great at first - even though it does go through batteries fairly fast.About 2 months in, it started to not work consistently. You would have to turn it off and back on. Ok. Not ideal, but still workable most of the time. Then the amount coming out became harder to control. At about 4 months, it just stopped working all together.I did not expect it to last 10 years - as the simple human only lasted about 5, but I did expect to last at least one & was hoping to make it through the pandemic!I do not recommend - as we added to the landfill for only 2 months of it working well. Although disappointed in both brands, I would go back to Simply Human for now.

I purchased a name brand foaming soap dispenser first, but it was horrible. I returned it and got this one. This dispenser is so much better. You get plenty of soap dispensed to actually wash your hands. I also love that the batteries go in the top and not the bottom. There is less chance that the battery compartment will get corroded from water getting in.

Setup the dispenser when I got it, and the motor turned on but would not draw any soap out of the soap reservoir. I even tried removing all of the soap and having it draw plain water... no luck. Cheap Chinese junk. Also, as some others have written, you have to put your hand very close to the soap outlet to get the motion detection to activate. That's not "broken"... that's just a bad design IMO. I bought this because there are plenty of people who have given high ratings for this, but at the time I am writing this, about 33% of the reviews are 1 star and A LOT of those are for the same issue I had. So if you want to roll the dice with this item, there is about a 1 in 3 chance you'll get a piece of junk.

Sadly, the button was insufficiently waterproofed, causing corrosion on the circuit board beneath. As a result the light always blinks red now when you present your hands, as if the batteries were low. Even though if you push the button manually it dispenses just fine. Ours lasted a year and a half, and I think on just one set of batteries. But it could have died on day one, if the water had gotten on the button earlier. Disappointed to now have to throw it away.

This dispenser works great until it doesn’t. Mine only lasted a few months and the company is awful to deal with. I finally got a new dispenser but had to supply a video “proving” it was broken along with a lot of back and forth emails. Not even really worth it. I appreciate finally getting a replacement but they need to change their return process unless it’s on purpose to deter having to replace their shoddy product.

The media could not be loaded.  I like everything about this foam soap dispenser! It works exactly as it’s supposed to. It even works in the dark! I read another feedback about how it has to be primed in the beginning, so when no soap came out at first I just kept triggering it, and after a minute or so the soap came out. (I think that the people who left negative feedback missed this point) I have it set at the maximum volume of soap (in the video).

I love this dispenser. We bought it to replace our regular (non-foaming) automatic soap dispenser. I love the style of this, and it dispenses a perfect amount of soap (I like a good amount of soap). It looks great on my counter and the motion detector is very responsive, but not overly responsive. I don’t find it goes off by accident. Would highly recommend!

La parte metálica del dispensador parece de excelente calidad al tacto, no se quedan marcados las huellas al tomarlo, y las gotas de agua se limpian con facilidad. He usado jabón para manos regular diluido con agua de la llave (100ml de jabón, y el resto del envase de agua). Sólo cambiaría dos cosas de este producto: el envase para jabón está hecho de plástico, parecido a una botella de PET gruesa. Hubiera sido mucho mejor si fuera de vidrio. Además de esto, el sensor actúa demasiado rápido. Se necesita un poco de práctica para acostumbrarse a la velocidad del sensor y la distancia a la que se tiene que acercar la mano para activarla, y después retirarla con rapidez para evitar que se dispare de nuevo el sensor. Aún con eso, estoy muy satisfecho con la compra.

Apenas lo he tenido por unas semanas y funciona correctamente.Es muy bonito.Le puse detergente líquido para manos diluido en agua en proporción 1:5 (1 parte de jabón y 5 de agua), con esto quedó algo floja la espuma, probaré 1:4 a ver si queda más espesa.Espero que el producto sea duradero.

Worked out of the box ... Was able to prime it with water only (good pump)! It also works well with rechargeable battery (4 AAA req'd). Low battery works ...ON/OFF button flashed red (as it turned out, one of my battery was a dud initially!).-Safety: Good design: see pic, Battery case has silicone seal (blue arrow) & cover has magnet to stick to screws (red arrow) to keep lid closed, even if dispenser is tipped. Also prevent water from reaching battery case. Changing batt. from top is a plus.-Solution: tried different concentration of castile soap/water (15-30%) - all work fine ... you get thicker foam with higher concentration. You can set short or long dose while pressing the ON/OFF button while unit is ON.Minor hiccup: the jar has levels indicator in metric (100, 200ml... with half mark in between) DO TRUST them as they are wrong measurement: e.g. 100 ml on jar is actually 75ml.Personally, I would have preferred a design with AA vs AAA. Maybe Ver 2 will !!!
