Doshisha [2019 Model] Electric Full-Scale ice Crusher Fluffy

I’ve searched around for the perfect shaved ice maker to make the shaved ice fluffy enough for bingsu and this is IT!!! My only gripe is that it makes one bowl at a time and since I have five little ones plus myself, I have to freeze six molded ice cubes (using the mold that comes with the machine) and make a serving at a time. But still, this is the perfect bingsu making machine hands down!

Works great but very flimsy. As soon as I used it once the legs warped and started to get stress cracks. As funny as it sounds you have to be gentle and really watch how much pressure you are using while putting the spring loaded top on.

Work just like the cheap one. When you are out and about you don’t have time to freeze a nice ice cube to make thin ice. You go and buy ice from store. Those ice will not make thin ice like it show on the box. It will make ice like those $40 one. You also can’t put a lot of ice in it. One serving per fill. It gets annoying because you have to take the whole top of. Will not recommend if you bring this to camping.

After receiving this item, I noted that it states right on the box that it is made for use only in Japan and is not for use in any other country. That's when I did some research and found in the reviews that you'll need to purchase a voltage converter step down transformer in order to use it in the USA because it is designed for a power supply of only 100 volts. It is already priced high enough without having to invest more into another device just to be able to use it in the USA. This was a real bummer, so I returned it. Amazon should make this known in the product description.

This one does not cut the ice thin. Disappointed.

This machine, if you buy it used, is a really good deal. And using ice cubes as a supplement, I know that thing has potential and it would probably be a really good machine for shaved ice.However, in my experience, I was not given ice molds straight out of the box, which meant I had to buy more things off of Amazon which cost a lot of money and adds up really quickly.This thing for what it is is great but I think the seller sort of scammed me a bit. Be wary if you purchase this, because while it is a good product, one of the major components of this machine did not come with the product.

Not as substantial as a product as I thought when I saw the pictures. It actually doesn’t shave too bad but it is too late.
