Q: Will this fit large chested mommies?

I was a 38DD when I got it (now probably back down to a 36D), but am otherwise fairly petite. I cinch it as tight as it goes, so it'd be roomy enough for someone bigger than I am. Probably up to a 44, 46 inch chest band, at least. I can get my 38 inch tall, 32 pound toddler in it too.

Q: how is this in the summer?

I have no issues with our organic Lillebaby in the summer, aside from the inevitable warmth of a baby snuggled up to you. That said, I'd check out the Lillebaby Airflow or All Seasons carrier if you live somewhere with intense heat- they both have a mesh panel in the front for better air circulation and cooler carrying! :)

Q: I bought the lillebaby complete and the instructions say to use an infant insert for a newborn, I thought this carrier didn’t need an insert?

You technically do not need a newborn insert, with the complete all I did was roll a baby blanket up and place it under the baby's bum. The carrier adjust securely enough to not need an insert.
