Iffy about it- update too
The light is alright, as long as you make sure it's at the right angle is use it. Don't like the way the handle is made, Very bulky in the wrong areas. There is little padding which makes it hard to grip with the "wood" being smooth. Especially with a tight stitch.Changing the heads is a pain also. The tool given is very flimsy. Was convinced to keep it, not sure if I will ever use it or not**UpdateIt's been about 4 months I've owned this. It's still very uncomfortable to use. I found a pencil cover and out that over the handle and it seemed to help. Now that I do use it after everyone is sleeping almost nightly I've gotten used to the light placement. The battery life is absolutely amazing. I've charged it maybe 3 times. About 2hrs a night being used.I wouldn't purchase another set. But I'm not so upset about keeping it as it does allow me to be a little more less obvious.

I have a eye problem with glare from lights, I can still use these on the lower light setting.
I accidentally made two orders, my error while using my phone. I really do like them and decided to keep them both. That way I can always have one fully charged as I crochet. My only issue is that because of what is going on with my eyes, I have a problem with glare. The brightest setting causes too much glare for my eyes especially when I have been crocheting for a long while. But, the 2nd, lower setting works fine for me, whether in daylight or room lighting. I have used these in the car on trips with us taking my daughter back and forth to her dorm and I am very happy with them, that I can still crochet even with darker colors.

Overall I’m very happy with this purchase!!!
I needed a lighted crochet hook set for night time use. The hook base in this kit is light weight but a little bigger than I’m used to. Not bad over all. I do love the 2 light settings and that it’s rechargeable. I did have some trouble with the yarn catching on the notches where you tighten and loosen the hook. Easy fix- I used a tiny hair tie (that I keep on hand for my grand daughters!) to wrap around that area. You could also probably tie a little piece of yarn around that area to keep the yarn from catching.***UPDATE***After using the hook base for an amount of time, I have gotten used to it and can crochet as quickly as I could with my other crochet hooks!👏

Some major design flaws.
It is cumbersome to hold, and the yarn keeps getting caught in the ridge where you change the hook. The hook needs to be longer and the yarn does snag a bit until you've used it for awhile to wear it down. I'm going to keep it because the concept is awesome, but there are some major design flaws that would make it better.

Disappointing
I loved this at first. But now, after some use, I see some issues. Many of the needle tips don't stay stable in the wooden handle (despite it being clicked until place according to the instructions) and also many of the needle tips are not smooth, so they catch on yarn. There are many other things to like about this but not enough for me to keep using them. I will unfortunately have to buy another different pair.

Hooks are not good
Great idea, decent execution. I returned this product as the hooks themselves are not properly shaped, IMO. The plastic ridge down the midline and the plump shape of the hook made it nearly impossible to get thru a stitch without a snag or a struggle. The seller solicited my feedback and says they will work on it I imagine all the plastic hooks are like this but I've not tried other brands.

Yarn snags where hook meets handle
Nice concept for low light areas. Only complaint is that yarn gets caught on the lip of the hook where it screws into the handle. Frustrating as progress is interrupted to untangle yarn thus hampering smooth flow of crocheting. Would be great if that lip was eliminated from the hook shaft so yarn does not snag during work.

ABSOLUTELY NOT COMFORTABLE TO HOLD
Very disappointed in this product. ABSOLUTELY not comfortable to hold and with the hooks being plastic, they do not glide through the yarn. Each stitch is a struggle. The black grip actually slides around while you are trying to crochet.
