Pencil Sharpener

This is my experience using this gadget ford colored pencils.Bought it because it is portable and takes 2 AA batteries and USB. However, the auto stop is not there. The instruction in Chinese says that this isn’t for pastel and waxed based pencils due to blockage issue. Well, several of my waxed based color pencils broke using this. Now they are shorter than the rest of my pencils. The issue could be the pencil wood quality. I had to gauge when to stop before the the tip or core breaks. There’s definitely a learning curve using this sharpener. BTW, don’t risk getting the tip very sharp. If you push it, the tip would break or the core would break.BTW, this doesn’t work for Faber Castell Albrecht Durer watercolor pencils and its larger size Magnum pencils. They are too thick for this sharpener.

This pencil sharpener sharpens a pencil well. You have to check or it will eat your pencil no automatic stop once pencil is sharp. The shavings container is really small and is easy to spill taking it out if full. Suction really doesn't work here bring it's more like a hand held sharpener. Very small.

The media could not be loaded.  Compact. Uses 2 AA batteries. It’s a little loud and it’s not heavy enough to use it one handed. You have to hold it with one hand and make sure to push down. The pencil being pushed down pushes a button on the inside making it sharpen. I did not use it with the wire, just used batteries. Edit: After using it for a while it has been a great purchase. My 6 year old uses it with ease and it still works great. Definitely worth the cost.

I have used this pencil sharpener maybe five times during July and August 2019 and it stopped working today. It won't even move. I tried to unplug, add batteries and nothing. This item was truly a waste of money because it didn't last very long. I do not recommend this item, I now have to look for another pencil sharpener. Save your money and buy one that would last longer.

We can sharpen pencils by hand with this, or keep it actively plugged into a USB. Batteries don't work (and yes, I tried other batteries with it, they are functioning and work fine in other appliances).

First of all, this is much smaller then I was expecting. I thought it would be the size of a normal desktop electric sharpener, but it's tiny. The sharpening power isn't great. It works fine for the average pencil but anything that's a little waxy in texture jams it up.

This is tiny and weak. It’s cool that it can be plugged into a USB port but it doesn’t charge it so it has to be plugged in at all times and/or it needs batteries. I used it twice and opened the shavings container but it doesn’t fit back together. :( It’s red and I had big hopes for my classroom.

After use this one for more than half a month, I would like to say it is great! It can also work well with the colour pencils.By the way this set comes along with an adaptor, so there is no need for the batteries. and this one doesnot need too much space.
