Great product. Works as expected. I had a technician install it and he was impressed of how small the product is.

Product was easy to install and offers a variety of mounting options for different door configurations.It is also easily adjustable for closing force and speed.

I think you still need a professional to install this. Many parts and very poor directions for install. Also, this won’t work with decorative door frames because of the angle.

My helper tried to install this while I was away. Parallel configuration. He said the directions were wrong as they said to install the control screws toward the hinge. The closer pushed the door open when installed according to directions as he understood them. We wanted the device to close the door. So he fiddled with the control screws too much and lost the oil after turning the unit over to make it work correctly. I took the unit back to the shop and attempted to refill to no success. I gave it 3 stars because it is a handsome unit beautifully finished, but was sad to see it in the trash can.

lots of different install options. get the one with the bracket if you are unsure. works well on a aluminum hollow core.

It works very well in my office. Some of the instructions for installation were not completely clear but we figured it out.

The instructions weren't great. I mounted it to spec and the arm rubbed at the top of the door frame. I adjusted it down and it works fine now. The adjustments are tunable enough for me and it does have a two stage close. (Swing and latch). The finish is a little delicate. I scuffed mine with the drill chuck as I drove the screws home but its not noticeable from the ground. It came with the extra plate for mounting on the push side of the door. Just be careful with the instructions so you don't end up with an extra set of holes you have to patch after wards.

Received with chipped/scratched paint on the arm, contacted the vendor who apparently cannot do anything, was hoping he would offer to send me a new arm…. will probably return and buy another brand. BTW instructions are very deficient/confusing.
