Q: I adopted a 65lb mixed breed. the way he is acting i think he was raised to fight. he goes after other dogs to kill. will this hold him without tearin

Unfortunately no. Our 60 pound German wirehair pointer broke both the the hookup points by pulling the clips out of the fabric. So the hook was left on the line but our dog was free. Super disappointed! It looked like it was good qualybut we haven’t even had it a week.

Q: Do I have to get a leash for this harness ?

The harness didn’t come with a leash . I use a 6ft leash as well as a 50ft expanding leash both work well with the harness. The handle is great for lifting my dog when putting him in the truck or over objects while hiking , I would not recommend using the handle to walk with your dog

Q: What would be the recommended size for a bernese mountain dog? he's still a 4 month pup but want it for adult size

I would recommend not getting this. My dog is a Boxer/American Staffordshire Terrier Mix and at about 8 months broke the metal buckle in about 2 weeks. But he looked cool in it for those 2 weeks. I wrote the company and never even got a response.
