You may be taking a chance when you buy a knockoff battery but it has paid off for me
Pro's. The price is a definite pro. Very cheap compared to the OEM batteries. I love this product because I hate putting my phone on the charger. Basically you rip out your dead battery then swap in a new one and your good to go. I never leave my phone on the charger. Plus if your going on trips this works great. I slip an extra battery in my pocket and I never worry about running out of juice. I ended up buying 2. One to have at work and one for home. This may be a little overkill but it is so cheap that I say why not. The charger works great. It takes about 6 hrs to charge a dead battery.Cons. The charger seems a little fragile but I have had no problems. Some believe that these batteries may fry your phone. Well lifes a gamble and I think it is more dangerous to hook your phone into the outlet than to worry about this battery destroying your phone. No NFC. NFC hasn't really kicked off yet so this isnt a deal breaker in my opinionIdeally if you have money to burn you should buy a few of the original batteries and a charger but his will run you close to $100. If you want to do the same thing for around $20 this is your solution. Buy it.

1980 mAh version has NO NFC
I purchased the 2-pack "Onite 2 x 1980mAh" version. It works great as a battery, but does NOT include NFC / RFID. It seems that standard capacity replacement batteries for this phone just aren't available anywhere, except for the original OEM Samsung model, which is hard to buy new.On the other hand, this Onite battery lasts a long time, and the included accessories like the standalone charger are nice.

Look for some thing better.
OK this is a next battery which do not holds the charge! Full charging and discharging is not helping at all!

Lasted a month then started to lose their capacity
Pros: Great price, fast shipping, nice bundle and the charger works OKCons: Both batteries won't hold charges around after two to three weeks of daily usage. I went to bed last night without bluetooth, gps and no email or facebook fetching, batt was fully charged at 100%,then I woke up with 27% left. My one year old Samsung battery still have more juice than these two combined, maybe I got a bad batch?Bottom line: I got what I paid for, barely. Will buy original battery tomorrow.

Working Great!
These are my favorite replacement batteries so far. I like that they fit right into the wall charger without having to line up the pins like some of the other universal chargers making it a snap to pop them right in to charge. (Granted, the charger will only charge these specific batteries, not batteries for other phones also)I've been using them for months and they still hold a good charge. My phone gets HEAVY use during the workday and HEAVY use from the kids when I get home. I've had spare batteries for other phones before and I can't express how nice it is to have 2 spares in addition to the OEM battery. I just never have to worry about not having power. Love these and would buy them again.

Good batteries but the charger...
The batteries are great, even if they do not have NFC. Though, the charger is not the best. It's very slow and it is also kind of hard to take the battery out. But it also have a USB port, which is an extra generally not offered in this kind of chargers. The OTG cable is also a great addition. This is the perfect kit for your google galaxy nexus.

Effective, economical; but the 1980mAh claim is dubious
I'm a huge fan of generic batteries. I tend to keep one in my briefcase at all times, so particularly heavy phone use (or a forgotten charger while traveling) won't leave me high and dry.So, this kit with two batteries is just the ticket. You can use one while the other charges, and the charger itself can charge the stock Samsung battery. If you aren't using them much, you can charge one fully and rotate them in your bag periodically (I like to do this, since the battery does seem to discharge a bit on its own over time). The charger is, however, pretty slow. I'm not sure what it's rated at, but it's a good plan to charge batteries over night before you actually need them (or just charge them in the phone itself). These batteries seem to lack the hardware required for NFC as well. This does not matter to me since I do not use that functionality, but if you need it look elsewhere.Measuring actual battery capacity with a smartphone is very difficult, since there are so many variables involved based on usage. I can only tell you my general impression: these batteries do not seem to last quite as long as the Samsung battery does. The difference doesn't seem to be huge, but I'm more likely to reach for the charger when I get home with one of these in than I am with the stock battery (which generally lasts until bed time). For the cost, though? You can't beat them, and I'll forgive the shortcomings readily. The included OTG USB cable (which is a 99 cent value if shipped from Hong Kong, more if sourced locally) does work and is a nice bonus.

Not for the Galaxy Nexus. It simply does not fit.
Not for the Galaxy nexus. The batteries do not fit the Nexus. They fit other Galaxy phones, but not the Nexus. I assumed the batteries where correct and proceeded to open and charge them, therefore making them ineligible for a return.
