Traditionally used to help prevent hyper extension, this lightweight, yet sturdy wedge can ease the angle of your writsts and ankles in plenty of poses. Also known as a 'plank', foam wedges are a favourite with Iyengar practitioners. They can be used in dog pose and handstands and are also commonly used in Pilates. Now in extra high density foam which is almost as hard as wood but much lighter (density 140Kg/cbm).

Perfect for squats
I have pretty poor ankle mobility which I’m working on so struggle to hit any depth with squats. Use this wedge under the heels and it’s perfect! The extra height allows a full range of motion and is a fraction of the price of squat shoes/lifters. Definitely recommended, now to go and get a foam roller for those leg day DOMS........

I’ve since started using small individual cork blocks which are much better.
Works okay if you do a lot of fixed poses but not ideal for a flow or vinyasa class as it gets in the way. I’ve since started using small individual cork blocks which are much better.

I have a weaker right wrist and the yoga wedge is not easy to use for arm balancing postures. Even rolling a towel and putting it under my hand is better than using this wedge.

Great yoga prop
