My Blue &Gold macaw has been on PrettyBird products right out of the egg. I’ve tried other brands over his 27 years but PrettyBird is his preferred.

First it has a very nice smell to it. Also it is plenty large for each of the birds I mentioned. They must love the taste as they eat every bit of it even when mixed with other blends that I use. There is no waste at all and I have 4 Cockatoos and 3 African Greys.

Our parrot loves it and smells like fresh fruits.

We were using to zupreem for years but my birds would cherry pick eating just certain color thinking that if was a color issue. This pretty bird food has fun shapes and colors they eat all of. No longer a cherry/banana picker only

A quality basic pellet diet for the macaws in rescue here. Supplemented with fresh foods every day, this is a low 'artificial ingredient' and largely natural pellet not loaded with sugars which contribute to repeated yeast/fungal infections of the gut. I have been feeding my yellow naped amazon parrot Pretty Bird since 1994 because it was what we used at the zoo that I worked for, for all our parrots. She was 11 years old when I adopted her, so she is 35 years old now. Pretty Bird is the best pelleted food. My girl loves it, she is healthy, active, and beautiful.

This is the only brand she will eat. I tried others and she will not eat it if there are small purple bits in it.

My Macaw has been eating this food for many many years. The food itself is great, he loves it. The bag I received today had been torn and was repaired with tape. This is unacceptable without knowing how long between the tear and the repair. Did not see visible mold or insects but pretty iffy as far as feeding it to my 29 year old bird with health issues. Also do not feel like driving 20 miles to Kohl’s to return. Especially today since Kohl’s is in Kenosha and the jury is out now in a well known divisive case. Not worth the trouble. The local wild birds just got lucky. Will order again from Chewy.
