Custom Accessories 56673 Deluxe Locking Clothes Bar

Went on hooks on 3 different vehicles just fine, 2005 Buick Le Sabre, 2014 Mustang, 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe. On some vehicles you may have to fuss with placement on hooks, but after the first time it's easy, once you "get" how to do it. I would rather have a hook designed to stay put instead of one that may go on a bit easier, but falls off if you hit a bump. Also, some bars can fall off if very lightly loaded. Some of my driving it had nothing on it, and it stayed solid.Not hard to pull out to extend. Very strong metal tubing. Nice material on the surface to keep hangers from sliding around. The inner tube that extends has just bare metal, but that's to be expected, and once installed, there won't be much bare metal showing.The plastic hooks also look to be made from strong high quality plastic, don't expect they'll ever break, even if the bar was fully loaded with heavy clothes bags containing heavy winter wear.I expected very good quality, was surprised it exceeded my expectations. Extremely fair price for the quality.

Works great! I have a 2016 Chev Travers. I put it on the back hooks. It expanded well and sits well on the hooks and in the vehicle. The clothes do not move much at all, if any, while driving.

USE DUCT TAPE (aka duck tape). This product cannot fit all vehicles. But it can hang on either the hooks or the handrail. It continued to fall off my hooks. It fits well on the handrail perfectly, but falls off soon. So I used duct tape. It was crappy-looking at first, but I redid it and it really looks OK now. I’m giving the product a “4” because you have to do some (value-adding) work yourself. It looks nice, it will not come loose, and it can SUPPORT AN ELEPHANT.

This fit both a Grand Cherokee and also a Town and Country minivan. We moved across town and instead of using the wardrobe boxes from our previous move, we moved as many carloads as we could without the movers. This clothes bar is very sturdy -- I was careful not to completely overload it, but it survived having a ton of clothes on it over many back-and-forth trips. I'm happy with this investment and know it will come in handy in the future.

After a bit of difficulty getting it installed because it does not fit the handles of my Jeep Patriot, but worked on the hooks well. Held up to loads of hanging laundry .

The bar that was received is different from the bar in the picture. I was looking for the unit in the photo that has the black ring with the extra hook off the side as shown. The unit received has a simple hook. I have attached a photo of what you will receive. Good luck!!

This was installed on Honda Odyssey. Easy to install. We hung about 15-20 clothes including 2 suits. The hangers don't slide due the rubber covering and locking mechanism. Went for two 5 hour trips. Didn't have any issues. Great product.

I used this bar when I was moving, and it held an ENTIRE closet's worth of my clothing. I was super impressed! One thing to note: I have an '04 VW Passat, and the ends did not fit over the 'handles' in the backseat (which I think is how it's supposed to go, b/c that's how my bf used it in his Jeep). So, I hung it from the little clothing 'hooks', which worked perfectly, and, IMO, made it stronger! :)
