Provides just as many shots as my Canon batteries
Wasabi Power Canon LP-E19 Battery for CanonI've been using Wasabi batteries in all 7 of my Canon cameras for over a decade and never had an issue with any of them and they all still perform well. This battery is being used in a 1DXII and is the first time I've used this style as my other batteries have primarily been LP-E6NH style. After putting this battery through the paces for the last few weeks taking over 20,000 pictures at soccer games, it's given me just as many shots or more as my Canon batteries. I've also seen no reduction in fps. I average about 4000 pictures in a 1.5 hour match and I review many of the shots in camera. I was able to use just this one battery for the entire match with plenty of juice to spare. The battery fit perfectly into the camera with no signs of over tightness before or after use and sealed well. I noticed no difference between it and my Canon batteries. The battery cap pops on and off easily and remains tight on the end while in my camera bag. The cap also works well on my Canon batteries as the originals no longer stay on. I wish I could find replacement caps. The battery fits into the 1DXII's charger with no issues exactly as the Canon version does. It charges quickly and accurately displays the % while charging. To maximize a battery's lifespan, I charge all my lithium ion batteries to about 80% when it's not an all day event. Being charged to only 80%, the Wasabi battery still had over 15% left at the end of the match, same as my Canon batteries typically do. I store my batteries between use at about 40% then charge them to 80% just before use as mentioned above.I am very happy with this purchase and it's met all of my expectations and past experiences I've had with this brand over the last 10+ years. I spent a great deal of time researching aftermarket batteries before purchasing this brand. And after taking over 1 million clicks during the last 10 years I am very happy with Wasabi's performance. I highly recommend them based on my experiences.

Garbage
Doesn't even charge on the dedicated Wasabi charger. Never worked.

Canon R3 compatible and yes, it has a great battery life
I read here reviews that this battery did not work in the Canon R3, and I thought maybe Canon did something anti-consumer and locked the camera to only allow OEM batteries. I bought one anyway to use this battery in my EOS 1D X II. Turns out, it worked perfectly in my R3. I photographed a lacrosse game with it, taking thousands of photos, and the battery indicator did not drop below the halfway mark. So if you have an R3, are worried it won't work, relax -- it works just fine.

Battery nota true replacement for Canon LP-E4N
This battery does not work on the Canon recharger for which this battery is a replacement. Not only does it not fit the recharger, it causes errors in the recharger (flashing red lights) after you figure out how to remove some of the plastic intentionally added to the base of the battery to prevent it from seating properly on the Canon recharger. Another issue is that the battery’s power parameters are not the same as the original Canon LP-E4N. Voltage, milliamperes per hour, and watts per hour are all much higher than the original Canon battery. Do you really want to stick this in a $5,000.00 camera? If you do, you also have to purchase the Wasabi recharger!

Good Substitute, but needs slight modification
Straight to the facts:PROS:- It works on a Canon 1Dx- The battery life seems to be comparable to the OEM battery- So far no issues, but I have only had it for about 2 monthsCONS:- It does not fit the Canon charger right out of the box. There are two slithers of plastic in the batteries guide channel that will prevent the battery from sliding all the way in. But this had as very simple solution.SOLUTION:If you have and are good with a Dremel, you can use that, but I opted for an Xacto knife and that did the trick. Simply measure 5 - 6mm from the contacts of the batter and score the plastic piece. Now cut from battery contacts toward the scoring until you cut loose the 6mm piece. Use the knife to scrape off any remaining plastic left behind. You should now get a good, tight fit on the charger. (See pictures)

Equivalent to stock
Although I've not been super-impressed with the battery life of my R3, this battery seems to be performing on-par with the genuine Canon battery that came with the camera. I did notice the first time I charged it, the battery seemed to charge in one slot of the charger and not the other, but I haven't noticed any issues since. I'll likely pick up another given that I'm not quite getting a day's use out of either this battery or the genuine Canon one.

A complete replacement for Canon's expensive LP-E19 battery.
I've been using third party batteries over the years. After deciding not to spend over $300 on replacing the LP-E4N batteries which had died, I bought very cheap "PowerExtra" batteries for my 1DX and 1D Mark IV. I shot hundreds of events with them and they worked perfectly although the 1DX didn't show how much charge is left in them. Now the new Canon chargers (like the one with the 1DX Mark III) will simply refuse to charge them since they don't communicate with the charger. The Wasabi LP-E19 is even better since the 1DX (and the 1DX Mark III) will show you how much charge is left. I've shot several events along with Canon's LP-E19 and have found no difference in life at all. The new Canon chargers will charge them just like a Canon battery.PLEASE NOTE: this battery will NOT charge on the LC-E4 charger that came with your 1DX. A Canon LP-E19 battery won't charge either so don't blame Wasbi. This type of battery will ONLY charge on a LC-E19 charger that comes with a 1DX Mark II or Mark III. If you don't have this charger then don't buy this battery.

How do they expect you to charge it?
The battery doesn't fit in the charger. It works in a Canon 1DX but doesn't fit in the charger... Really? There's a notch on the bottom of the battery that is longer on this battery than on the Canon battery. I'm not sure if they expect you to buy a different charger for their battery, but this is ridiculous.
