Sometimes oily, sometimes dry very large pills. My dog hates them but will eat them covered in pumpkin or squash. He's an American Bulldog, 10 years old and he can still chase squirrels across the top of the fence. He's been taking them for 9 years due to 2 damaged legs. Kind of expensive but worth it.

The product pictured is Elanco brand. The product received is Pet Protect. Evidently "Advantage" is now being made by a new company. Pet Protect makes the chews smaller so now my dog requires two chews a day instead of one. Now we go through 120 chews in 60 days instead of 120 days. The price also increased significantly so it is a double whammy. Unfortunately, I am forced to look for a new product

This is the best chews I have found for my dog that has a genetic history of hip problems. Our Aussie is now 13 yrs old and we have been giving her this since about 4 yrs old.

Our vet recommended this product when our 9 yr old, 60 lb mix breed, began to have stiff hips and no longer ran and played like before. It was so hard to watch her get around we knew she was in pain. This product has brought her back to the dog she was a few years ago. She now runs and plays without the stiffness and struggle, she is also back to getting in trouble, jumping up on the furniture! We saw a positive change in less than 2 weeks of use. We've been giving her 2 chews every day for about 8 months and will continue as long as she is showing this much improvement! I have also found the purchase price on Amazon is lower than most other places.
