Q: where can I purchase a replacement pump ?

I thought I needed a pump because it had almost quit working. It was just plugged up with hair. Did you try taking it apart and cleaning it? If that's not it, you have to get a pump the same wattage, output, etc...just search pet fountain pumps. Now this will involve tearing the fountain apart and connecting wiring. My pump is e years old and still going strong, with monthly cleaning.

Q: Where can i find these replacement filters??

From Amazon. They're listed as an accessory order. Or just put in honey guardian filters.

Q: Why do the new filters have to come in plastic? It seems less effective than the fabric casing at trapping hair, not to mention more wasteful.

Not sure. My unit is working better without either filter. With either filter after almost a year it over flows.
