To start off , a good to great quality Adirondack chair can cost from $199 to well over $600. So when you buy one for around $50 you can not expect much.Let's begin with the positives....I ordered two chairs and they were suppose to arrive between Aug 3 to Aug 8 and I got them on Aug 1They are very easy to assemble, I did both with in 30 mins.....not counting the repairs I had to make(more on that later).The paint job on the chairs were good.Now the bad.....The chairs are made of the cheapest wood you can get away with, very light and low quality.When I open the boxes I found both had broken pieces on the back of the chair(see pictures).Second, the wood easily cracks if the wood screws are even slightly torqued. And I am sure that the material is scrap wood based on the fact that some of the piece are cut from a different stock between the two chairs(see pictures). Also the assembly holes one chair did not line up, I had to drill a hole myself. The feel of sitting in the chair assures you that a heavy person will break the seat , in fact I weight 180 and heard the wood seat piece bent under my weight, this chair is not for someone over 250 lbs .I believe these chairs are good for decoration and light use, if you are lucky they may last a season. But if you are looking for a decent quality chair that will last for awhile, you are going to have to spend real money for it. And yes they are made in China, but don't blame the Chinese, blame the Texas company that imports them.And no I will not send them back simply because it is not worth time.

I purchased two chairs for my older parents. They loved the green chair. One chair arrived with a one of the seat slates broken. Called the company and they haven't made this color in years. On request, they did send a replacement slates in white promptly. Assembly wasn't too bad. Parents find the chairs easy to get into and out of.

Used these chairs for our outdoor fireplace... very comfy and somewhat easy to assemble. Sturdiness TBD...

Painted well. Beautiful forest green color. A little difficult to get out of if older but not so bad that it stopped me from buying two more.

Inexpensive construction but very acceptable. If you are handy, one could easily add additional bracing. Paint is excellent.

Nice chairs and easy to put together. I was a little disappointed with the finish.

bought has a gift for our daughter, who put it together herself, and really looks great..pic from her screen porch really states out and she loves to have the time to sit in it..
