The BEST Earl Grey
Even if you think you don't like Earl Grey, if you have never tried Twinings, you should give it a try. This is the only tea I drink. There is nothing better.

Twinings Earl Grey wins First, Second and Third Prize for best tea.
Never understood loose leaf tea. I mean you can buy tea bags already made up for a cup of tea so why would you want to go to the trouble of dealing with loose leaf? Then I discovered the little paper tea envelopes a few years ago. Didn't realize that these existed. You fill the envelope with as much tea as you want, pull the string and the bag closes. Insert the bag into your tea cup or pot and add hot boiling water. (I will admit that I mostly use my Keurig which is faster.) The flavor is so much "cleaner" somehow than a regular tea bag. It's like tasting Earl Grey for the first time. Also a can lasts a long time. Really can't say enough about how delicious this is.

Great taste & value
Earl Gray is my husband’s favorite tea. He reports that this has excellent flavor. We had been using the teabags until I read in a reliable source, could contain plastic microbeads. All of the plastics that we’ve used for decades are now found as microbeads throughout our food cycle, including fresh and saltwater fish. Of course, you will need a tea ball of some type.

Good basic Earl Grey
Well, maybe Twinings isn't my favorite tea on the planet but it's widely available and that makes it one of the better selections for tea. Their Earl Grey bagged tea is not the best bagged Earl Grey I have ever encountered but again, it is widely available and you can pick it up just about anywhere around here.Loose tea (in general) is just hard to find locally where I live. I noticed that a few varieties of Twinings loose teas started showing up on the shelves of one of my local stores that I frequent relatively recently. I did eventually purchase a tin of the Earl Grey and liked it better than the Twinings bagged version (although the bagged is still nice when I'm being lazy).Unfortunately, the next time I went back to buy another tin, they were out (of course).I don't typically like to buy tea online because you just don't know what to expect. Tea is such a subjective thing and I haven't tasted enough teas to know what to expect. At least I had tasted the Twinings loose tea and knew it is acceptable to me. Next problem is that loose tea is generally more expensive and it holds true even here on Amazon. Even the smaller tins of this Earl Grey cost several more dollars than they do at my local store (due mostly to shipping).I found this larger tin and there was one vendor selling it for around $10.00 with shipping. I ordered and received and am satisfied with it. Overall, I just wish this was more widely available so you don't absolutely have to buy it online. One thing I will say for the Twinings loose teas. The way the tins are sealed with the foil top they always smell amazing when you first open them. The Earl Grey especially smells great. Because well, it's Earl Grey and it already smells good. It just smells a lot better when you have 7 ounces of it that's been sitting in a foil sealed tin since it's manufacture. All of that pent up bergamot and tea goodness just gushes out.Anyway, I feel that Twinings Earl Grey could be a tad bit better but for what it is and what it costs, I can't really complain.
