Fun and easy introduction to poetry. The graphic organizers are great to help direction of thinking. I particularly like the brevity of words.

This book has been great for my first grader. It provides humorous examples, instruction, and graphic organizers. My daughter has recently written 4 poems on her own from the help offered by this book. I would recommend it for homeschool families.

I bought this to teach a unit of study on poetry. The graphic organizers are creative looking but did not transfer into learning for the students. A post-it note and ruled paper worked better.
