The instructions inform you to set the heat to 100 but the lowest is 160. The still was not melted after 30 minutes. After some Googling, I set it to the highest setting, lid on and left it for 15 minutes. It was melted and smooth. This definitely works better on longer hair and timing for the strip you apply to cool takes some trial and error. If left too long, even thick application will harden and come off in shards. The yellow wax did not work well for me, but the blue and dark ones (they melt to a dark purple) did well.Even with those issues, I would purchase again because the price is decent and I can buy refills cheaply.

I love that this warmer warms up super fast. I do not like the way it spreads for sure. The wax that comes with it dries to fast and I’m going straight from warmer no blowing or anything and straight to face. I have used it Couple times already and it works fine at taking off the hairs. Sometimes the wax breaks up and you have to pick at it but other than that I’m happy. I will probably try a different wax type.

I’m 99.9% sure most of my issues were user error, as this was my first time waxing at home. That being said, the instructions will tell you to melt in high then place the dial in the middle. That did not work for me, placing the dial in the middle at about 160 degrees was not warm enough to keep the wax spreadable. I had to adjust multiple times until I found a good temperature which ended up being about 210 degrees. I only used the black beads, I have very coarse hair & they worked very well.

I love this kit! If you have never used wax before you may need to practice a bit before you get the hang of it. It came with a lot of wax, spreading sticks, and protective rings to maintain your unit clean. The light turned off and I thought it was broken but it wasn’t. The light turns off and it kicks back on when it is not at the temp you want. The box was a different brand and image to what you ordered but it has the right product inside.

Okay, i was super sceptical, but i really needed a wax kit. I get insain ingrowns and ive heard waxing was better than shaving.Okay. Bikini wax on a tight tight budget.This was the cheapest with the best reveiws.I am so freaking happy with it. It says painless and omg, is it. Of course theres a little cause your yanking hairs but it really doesnt pull at skin!!! And were talking bikini!! WOW.Then, there is soooo much wax. That alone was worth the 20. I am so impressed with this all. Highly highly recommended!!!!

I appreciate the reviews that said what k8nd of wax was used for what. I used the white to wax bikini area and it was okay, but i think with a little more practice it will be better. Good hard wax. It was stringy when it wasn't hot enough. Would highly reccommend.

The wax isn't very good, I have to always repeat multiple times to get close to hairless. The warmer is a great quality, and the little heart shaped tinsel are awesome too.

This is my first time buying a waxing kit. I am satisfied with this one. I like the separate tins that it comes with so that I can switch out even with left over wax. It takes some getting used to and finding your own way that works best for you as far as application and such but I enjoy this one and it saves me money from going to get my armpits waxed routinely.
