Great starter quad
Pros:Very stableEasy to flyExtra batteryExtra props and canopyCons:Prop guard doesn't surround propsProp guard not separate from frameProps bend easily and get out of balance leading to buzzing noiseOverall this is seems to be a great beginner quad. The assisted mode makes the quad very stable and easy to fly for just about anyone. Compared with another small quad I've flown (UDI 839) it is more precise and easier to control. It also does not have to be reset every time you hit something. (The UDI had to be unplugged and plugged back in to reset the accelerometer every time it crashed, then it also needed to be trimmed). This quad rarely needs to be trimmed as long as you start out on a flat, level surface. The advanced flying mode should only be used outdoors unless you're an expert at flying. In this mode it does not "return to center" when the controls are used. This allows you to do tricks but makes stable flight harder. You will need more space to explore this mode.My only complaint is that the prop guard is not separate from the frame and that it doesn't fully surround the props. It's taken quite a few crashes while I've been learning to fly and one arm has split slightly. Doesn't seem to affect flight though. Also, because the guard doesn't fully cover the props, I've bent one which is now out of balance and horribly loud to fly with. Not a major problem as replacements come with the kit and additional props can be purchased and are inexpensive.A little pricey for a first quad but it's worth the money. The kit is great and the quad itself flies well.

Blade Nano is great! RC flight controller isn't
Great beginners drone!I received the quadcopter on time without any shipping problems from Amazon Prime. The box includes everything you see on the webpage and an extra battery. This machine is easy to fly, and has amazing flight characteristics for such a small drone. In no time I was able to hover and maneuver in a small area without crashing. If it flies to the ceiling, the propeller guards on the frame do a fantastic job of protecting the propellers and motors. Its very quick and can get away from you if you don't use the SAFE mode to control the gyros. I lost control at one occasion and the drone crashed into a sink of dishwater. The Blade Nano was completely submerged at the bottom of a sink full of water for about 10 seconds before rescue. I continued flying it wet to keep parts moving till the battery ran out, and then dried the rest of the craft with a hair drier. That was 3 weeks ago; its still working just fine. The propellers sometimes picks up hair or strings from furniture as it flies around the house. This is not a problem as you can quickly remove the plastic props, to remove anything wrapped around the motor spindle. This thing is tuff and easy to care for.The only problem that would not give the product 5 stars is the RC flight controller that comes with the Blade Nano QX. The range seems to be very limited. When I fly outside, the Blade Nano looses signal at about 30-40 yards up or out then drops out of the sky. When I go to retrieve the drone it is able to re-engage and flies again perfectly. I have asked Horizon Hobby to contact me about the range of the controller as a flight issue. No word as yet.

Exceeded all my expectations
I am new to multicopters and I was originally planning to build a 250-class racer. Taking the advice of experienced hobbyists, I chose to purchase this little guy first to practice my flying skills, since it basically flies the same way. I'm glad I did... I have crashed this little thing so many times. Now my skills are starting to improve and I thought I would write this review to affirm to others who are considering the same path. This quadcopter is a great choice.Pros:- One of the only models with a true acrobatic mode. This means it doesn't stabilize when you release the sticks, it just keeps going in whatever direction it was previously headed. This is supposedly necessary if you want to learn to pilot full-size quads well.- The stability mode is really good. It hovers almost perfectly and is easy to keep in the air.- Seems pretty damned indestructible. It's so lightweight that it doesn't damage easily. I have crashed this thing so many times and nothing has broken yet. It can handle 10-ft drops all day like it's nothing. Just cut the throttle if you know you're gonna crash so you don't break the props. It comes with some spares if you do manage to break one.- The prop guards work great. If you hit something it just bounces off and resumes hovering.- The battery life is very good, about 5-6 minutes of casual flying indoors. The battery charges in about 30 minutes. They are also cheap if you want to buy spares.- It's not too loud. It sounds like an angry bee, which is funny.Cons:- It feels cheap. I think this is to cut back on weight and allow durability. I'm not bothered by this. I would rather have a feather-light but indestructable mini quad than a heavier one that breaks easily and puts marks in the wall when you crash it.- It gets blown around by the wind. Just having a ceiling fan running will make it hard to fly. I can even notice a difference when my central air is on.This was a great purchase. It blows my mind that something like this is now possible. When I was a kid I dreamed of having a toy that was just like this, but the technology just didn't exist. All there was were crappy little helicopters that you couldn't really control. I'm a grown man and it makes me so happy to fly this little palm-sized multicopter around my living room.

Fun to fly, not as durable as I would have hoped
The QX is my first quadcopter and is fun to fly. Within a couple of days I'm pretty confident flying it in tight quarters. I've had it for 4 days and flown for ~20 chargesThe only thing that keeps me from giving it 5 stars is that while the propeller guards do a great job of protecting the propellers - they are quite flimsy and break easily. Two of mine are now cracked and I've tried to glue them in place so they don't fall off completely. Admittedly I've crashed it quite a few times, but I would have hoped that for $90 it would be able to handle a few small indoor crashes. Making the propeller guards replaceable rather than an integrated part of the frame would remedy this.

Great little flyer!
Just getting started with it but I am sure I'll get the hang of it. Much more stable than the Micro Drone that I have since discarded.

Great quadracopter but broke twice after 25 days
I liked Blade a lot, it flies easily at home and on the street. Can resist even very strong wind. Durable in terms of accident. But it has VERY low reliability in general. I bought it two times and two times it broke after 3 weeks. It has very unreliable engines, thus you will buy engines once in a month to fly normally. It also loses connection all the time on the street. So I agree with the other rates of 4-5 that the quadracopter is great. It is great, but only for three weeks until it breaks, unfortunately. As I said it was not just an accident for me, I bought it TWO times and TWO times it worked only for three weeks. So I do not recommend buying it because of this.

Sehr gut
