Good rain gauge
Seems to read a little low on rainfall. I will check this in the spring when I can put another guage next to it and compare. Make sure you put some spacers under the device when mounting in on a platform. This is to allow the water to escape from under the guage.

Fast delivery and easy set up.
I purchased this as a replacement for an accurite rain gauge which had stopped working. Ireceived this item quickly after my order. I set it up and everything worked well except for the rain gauge. I tried a variety of things to no avail. I contacted La Crosse customer support and we tried to trouble shoot. Ultimately they sent a totally new and separate rain gauge which works perfectly and was a snap to set up. Their customer service was very good, responsive and knowledgeable. I wasn't excited that we had to look at 2 screens for the weather, but as time has gone on, it's no been a big issue.

Somewhat confusing
I have to say, tge readouts can be a bit difficult to understand. I'm not sure what logic was used to display simple rain amounts. Its necessary to make changes to the display to determine levels gathered during a rain event. The display changes almost every hour and counts down for a 24 hour period if it stops raining. Tge rolling total really doesn't provide much useful information. Constantly having to make adjustments to the display is very annoying. The tracking of days since the last rainfall is a nice feature, except the readout takes up a lot of space on the display. On the plus side, it does appear to be accurate. I don't understand why it has redundant rain totals. Seems like whomever designed it, had a specific value that was required.I have been trying to adapt to this device. It does provide me information ℹ want. Just not all on the same page. Hopefully it will last longer than the previous device from a different company.

Unreliable after 2-1/2 months. Tech support fair to poor thus far.
Update 4/20/22:Well, it’s been nearly a month since I left my message with tech support. Still no return call, so I guess my call “just wasn’t very important to them.” La Crosse support continues to be extremely poor. Please be aware of this before you buy from this company. This unit was fine for the first couple of months and then the indoor unit failed to register the rain gauge. It still correctly reported both indoor and outdoor temps. I contacted La Crosse tech support and after waiting on hold for a while has to leave a message and call back number. 24 hours later, still no return call.I called back and was surprised to get a human! She was very pleasant and confirmed the unit was still under warranty. We tried all methods of trouble shooting including resetting the units. All to no success. Then she quizzed me regard where the outdoor unit was and that it might not work if it’s on a metal table or if the signal had to go through multiple wall surfaces or if it was too far away. I responded that the unit was next to a very large picture window and less than 40 feet from the receiver when in use. Then she said the window might be blocking the signal. Come on now! She had all the excuses lined up. I told her that the rain bucket was in the same inside room as the receiver and the reset failed to connect the two. Finally, she conceded the outdoor unit was faulty and arranged to send me a replacement rain bucket. The bucket arrived yesterday in excellent condition and very quickly. I replaced all the batteries once again and tried to connect the two devices. Once again it failed to connect with the rain bucket. I called tech support again this morning and once again had to leave a message and number. I tried to contact them again this afternoon and again no humans. We shall wait and see if they ever call me back or if I have to keep calling them day after day.

Second one in manybyears
Couldn't bet this one to work, swapped out batteries 3 times. I think there is a sequence of battery installation finally got the it working. My second Wilson rain Guage. First one I destroyed by trying to kill a spider that made a web inside the guage that the lever recorded rain fall. Bought another brand and it was crappy so I went back to this brand

Nice tool.
This rain gauge and temp and humidity is a real steal. Accurate, easy and convenient. Set up is self explanatory just remember to set the rain gauge well away from trees or structures and mount it to a level surface. I expect battery life to be pretty long for the rain gauge while the thermometer is constantly changing so that might go a bit faster

Inaccurate temperature display
Easy enough to set up, reasonable price, but the temperature is inaccurate. It always indicates 8-10 degrees high compared to two nearby official temperature sources. It's under ~2 ft eaves, several inches away from the wall, out of the sun. It also indicates the same difference inside compared to my Nest thermostat. I suppose I'll have to just mentally take 10 degrees off the indicated temperature. i can't comment on the accuracy of the rain gauge, since there has been no rain and I'm not interested in doing manual tests by pouring water into the bucket.
