From Dawn to Dusk: Mastering the Light in Landscape Photography Paperback – November 1, 2018

The book arrived in very good contidition. But it took months to come though.It deserves a 5 stars.

When you know all the technical knowledge about photography you want to expand your knowledge about what you photograph and this is the book for landscapers!

The books' title implies this is focusing on getting photographs at times that are not normally photogenic and it does cover this to a certain extent however not enough for a whole books worth, therefore a lot of the book is covering standard techniques already covered in many other books including previous books by these authors.A particularly irritating (for me) aspect is the use of American English instead of British English. The authors are British so why not use it? In fact in places there is a mix of British and American which shows poor copy editing by the publishers.Generally an ok book with nice images but if you have other photo books then you already have 85 % of the information.

A useful text from two of the UK's leading photographers, published by a UK company featuring mostly images made in the UK so why do I have to suffer the continual distraction and demeaning of our English language. We are in so much danger of losing our cultural identity to the obvious buying power of the USA but I would say that this book was clearly aimed at UK photographers so why not respect the intended audience and preserve our fine language?

A good read and I LEARNED A NUMBER of good things from it, my problem however is remembering what I have read. and keep having to refresh.

Really liking this one. I have some similar books by Ross and Marc but this is their better one. Much more information in it. One to pick up time and again. They write really well.
