NOW Supplements, Herbal Pause with EstroG-100, (Patented Herbal Extract Blend), 60 Veg Capsules

I have been using the Now Herbal Pause with EstroG-100 for 2 weeks now and while that might seem like a little soon to be giving a review, considering most products take 4-6 weeks to start working, based on what I have been through in trying to treat my perimenopause symptoms, I have to say that I am finally, finally, FINALLY able to rejoice to have found something that actually works! I have suffered from hot flashes and night sweats since April 2013, when I was 42; a little early, I know, but there’s no exact science on a woman’s body starting to transition out of her child-bearing years. I have been miserable trying to deal with these hot flashes. And believe me, I have tried just about everything and nothing has brought any real relief. One night, I was up late watching an infomercial on a product called Profemin. I was intrigued because it does not contain black cohosh or soy, the main two things they say are good for hot flashes, none of which have worked for me. I thought it was a bit pricy and with my track record of buying things that end up not working, I wanted to research and see if I could find the same 3 natural ingredients the capsules contain and the same dosage for a little less money elsewhere. Enter the Now brand. They have it here on Amazon and it is priced much less than the other brand (not that the other brand doesn’t work so don’t think I’m criticizing the other company). I purchased a bottle and within 7 days it arrived. I popped one capsule before I went to bed that first day and then took one the next morning, and right away, - and I do mean right away - I noticed that my hot flashes were spacing apart really nicely. With each day they were tapering off more and more and, I have to say that, at 14 days, my hot flashes are practically non-existent! It really scares me to say because I am still stunned. I mean, I still get warm from time to time but the flash is so mild, I hardly notice it, and I can count on one hand how many times a day I get warm. The only side-effect-type thing I’ve encountered is heartburn if I take it on an empty stomach, so I take one capsule 2x a day with a meal, and that helps tremendously. I am emotional over how well this product works and I really wanted to share my experience with women who have suffered through this who could not find relief through other methods. I feel like myself again – I’m not as moody or irritable and I sleep through the night!! I am so thrilled and grateful to the Now company for this product, it brings tears to my eyes. I really didn’t think anything would work for me, and I want to tell everyone who is struggling like I was to give Now’s Herbal Pause EstroG-100 a try.

Not sure if it's working or not. I'm hopeful though. Will update as I have a more firm opinion. But, so far do good. Will continue to buy.UPDATE: As I'm continuing to take Herbal Pause I'm noticing that my heat sensitivity is diminishing. I will continue to use as I am even more hopeful that my heat sensitivity will continue to diminish as time goes on. I did adjust my # of stars to 5 stars vs original 4 stars. That's how hopeful that I am that I will continue to feel relieved from heat sensitivity.

I bought this a little while ago to help with my stupid hot flashes after major surgery back in October. (It had to be done, but I forgot to plan ahead for the results, duh.)My hot flashes are not totally disabling, but they do seem to be getting more frequent & worse.Yikes! As do my mood swings.So, I started researching online, trying to keep in mind that at least HALF of what I find online is outright lies or total junk.When I, too, saw that TV commercial, I researched that product,but didn't like what I found, which led me to this product.(I already take another supplement NOW makes, because I am a longtime vegetarian & had some trouble finding it without gelatin. Finally found it on NOW's site.)So I have been on this for awhile, & I do have to say, it does help with the hot flashes. I was surprised.If I give in & start taking the capsule in the evening, plus the one I now take every morning, well, maybe things will get even better.Who knows? I will try it.At least I feel better, hot flash wise, now that I am taking this.Will update later, after I have been on 2 pills a day for a few weeks....If it works well, then other women should learn about this product, too.

I have tried many products to improve the negative affects of menopause and this one has helped me the most! Severe insomnia and hotflashes make having a normal life very difficult. I have been battling these symptoms for 5 years without success. After one month of using Herbal Pause my symptoms are so much improved I feel I have my life back!!!

I am very cautious about taking medications for hot flashes, since my mom had breast cancer. I have to say that I like that this product doesn't seem to have any soy or estrogen. I have only been taking one pill at night, and after a week my hot flashes were almost non-existent. I do notice a very slight warning occasionally, but nothing like I was having before taking this medication. I totally recommend this product!

My wife says this has really helped with her hot flashes, as well as her other "concerns". The great thing about this stuff is that it can't make things any worse. It's like eating broccoli for a headache: "Did your headache go away? - No. - Oh well, I ate broccoli." And as far as the husband is concerned, I can attest to at least one problem being solved (wink-wink).

This supplement works great for me, after 3 months taking it, it completely stop my sweat nights and hot flushes, now I have very few and almost unnoticeable hot flushes … love it!Hope is back in stock since two weeks ago it was unable and I order the other product that now have but it is not working and I am having night sweets several times a day .

I was struggling with post menopausal symptoms. I was particularly antsy and anxious. I have taken the herbal pause now for one month and my symptoms have subsided about 70 percent. I will definitely buy this product again my only criticism is that I wish more pills came for the money!
