No complaints here, I used this to backwash my pools sand filter all summer long with no issues. This thing stood up to being stored in direct sunlight, heavy use and never being stored or rolled up properly and its still going strong. We are getting things ready for the upcoming pool season and looks like this hose will make year-two with no problem. I was very satisfied with my purchase and will buy again when needed. I would totally recommend this to anyone else in the market for a pool hose.

This is perfect for back washing or filter. The hose is great quality. It was a great fit. It was lightweight but sturdy enough to do the job and do it well it was long enough that you could drag it through your yard so that you don’t have a pile wet by the pool. I would highly recommend this to anybody.

Good for a backwash hose, not great when used as emergency floor hose. I bought this based on an 'often purchased with' blurb on the pump that I ordered. This is called a 'lay-flat' hose (stamped right on the hose), and as such, is good for pool use where it goes from the filter head exit, to the street, laying flat. However, if you want to use it in an emergency, from a basement, out a window, around a corner, etc, it is not the best choice. It kinks SUPER easily, ALL the time, and you have to constantly monitor it where the bends are. A normal non-kinking hose will be better in an emergency.
